I think the best thing to do is to have Taker (my favorite superstar of all time) only lose it to a long-lived legend, not a NEW legend. Hell, if Bruno Sammartino won it, I wouldn't be so down about it. Kane winning it wouldn't be so bad, seeing the affiliation with Taker and his long term career with the company, but with somebody who hasn't spent a whole fucking lifetime with WWE (or WWF whatever), especially the state of the company now, it just would be another business without appreciation for those who even give a small part of their year for it, even when they are broke to pieces.

The whole point of wrestling is to build up a star, make money off said star, put a new star over established star, rinse repeat. It would be fucking stupid not to use The Streak to make somebody.

Uh huh, because being a poster on a forum for +years gives you the right to be a troll and not get shit for it. That makes total sense.

As for the streak ending I'm all for it if the right person comes along, but it shouldn't be thrown away on someone that's not gonna actually benefit from it. Punk, Cena, etc. have no business ending it because they're already made men. Like Steele said "it's all about making new stars".

this is my thought. the streak either ends when taker can't wrestle anymore or he uses it to put someone over. after that, it's not the money making attraction anymore either way. so why not use it to put someone over? isn't that what this sort of thing should be about? he doesn't need to stay undefeated to remain one the greatest of all time. i'm not saying punk is the guy to end it with, but to just let it rot with no real rub seems silly in a business built on making stars to make money.

This year I couldn't care less who wins because I enjoy both guys and think they will put on a good match. As for next year, I'm already polishing bullets for the chamber if Cena is the one that ends the streak as I've been hearing.

Nothing is more important than workrate. The greatest rasslemania match ever would be two ROH rasslers doing their artistic combat for 60 mins in an iron man match.

If Taker ends up 21-1, it's not like you can't still sell DVDs and promote for years to come "Taker's 21-0 streak". The streak ending doesn't mean the streak no longer exists.

the undertakers streak began long ago at westlem,ana personluy i think the streak is also bull hockey b/c who cares when u lose its if u lose quite frankly the ndertaker has lost a LOT so i think theres some overrating going on this streak as well and thats the bottom line .

I'd laugh though if the guy who ends up ending the streak totally drops the ball and quits WWE for greener pastures, (Brock Lesnar or Mohammad Hassan_ style), forcing Mizzark out of retirement, restoring the streak, and lives to fight another year(s).
