Looks good but PG-13 is the cancer of movies these days.

It guarantees more sales. It's just stupid though, movies should just be made for the sake of making a movie. All this marketing and planning is BS. In a time where TV shows can go further than before, in a time where things are all sexualized and slowly becoming less shocking, they try to remake movies so it's less gruesome...

End of story, dude. Kick-Ass 2, one of my favorite movies this summer, bombed hard. And it was more positively themed than the kind of dreary Man of Steel, so I wonder if cutting some of the violence would have helped.

I'm looking forward to watching it (KA2 and Robocop 2013) but as an art lover and on again/off again artist I would rather take an honorable loss. I mean I understand Batman, but Robocop? Freddy? Jason?

If it's successful enough to be actually remade (based on the whole nostalgia factor/established recognition deep in pop culture) and it had an R rating in the late 80's, a time were people were more uptight- there's no reason to be afraid it will bomb but hope they have the next Iron Man/Avengers on their hands and that's lame.

It's sort of like game companies bitching that their already good games aren't doing COD numbers.. so games turn into what's more popular.. ect.
