I may be one of the few people who do not want to see the match anymore. Honestly, I do not want to see Taker wrestle at Mania anymore. No streak, no more Taker at Mania for me.

I mean I understand he lost his streak to a part time guy, when he could have lossed it to the guy's like Punk, HHH, or HBK!!!. or even Bryan. However I think Taker was forced into losing the streak rather than him wanting it to happen. Sting vs Taker has been wanted by so many fans for years. and it could finally happen. I'm just hoping they build this fucker to death so it has a decent enough storyline leading to the ppv. maybe have Kane interfer. Just because Takers streak has ended he can still carry on that legacy I mean the 1 loss means jack shit. he still holds an impressive record to this day. |

I actually have no problem having him lose to Lesnar, because it has really turned to him losing to Paul Heyman. As for the match, part of The Undertaker's appeal at Wrestlemania has been the streak. Yes, his matches have been awesome over the past couple of years, but with him getting older, look who WWE put with him since WM24, Edge, HBK, HHH, Punk, Lesnar. All guys who can carry a match by themselves and hide Taker's fading ability. I have not seen a lot of Sting when he was with TNA, but the amount I did see, it was bad. He looked old and slow and I do not want to see these two moving slow around the ring taking up time for certain guys who deserve the time. If they did the match, I think the build would be awesome, but I really do not think the match will deliver. |
