I wonder how many of the DLC packs contain new attires? Obviously the Warrior one contains the Blue-Blood HHH... But does the Mark Henry one contain younger Sheamus, or DB? Because I could definitely live without the Mark Henry pack (will pretty much never use Khali for anything.)

But I wonder if the cost of the season pass it the cost of 2 of the three anyway, so if you're going to get two you might as well get the season pass. Meh.

The showcase modes individually go for $10 each, so you can spend either $20 for the 2 showcade modes you want, or just spend $25 for the season pass which gets you the extra showcase mode, Paige, accelerator (if you want to jump straight into Universe mode or something), and discounts on the other packs.

If the Showcase modes are done well, it'll be worth it anyway.

The only entrance they ever go out of their way to get the timing right are ones with gestures that cue to the music (Funkasaurus, HHH, etc). I don't think they're gonna tweak transitions and animations just so we can hear our favorite part of a song.

The idea of being able to choose between playing as a heel/face and your storyline choices changing accordingly is cool, and getting points based on the match as opposed to win/lose is cool too.

For sure. I like how "actions" dictate personality rather than a generic category in the CAW suite. I wonder if said system will allow for heel/face turns.

From the sounds of things, MyCareer seems to outweigh even trying to fix the broken Universe mode. It was great for laughs, especially JamesSteele's post he had documenting his experiences.

Yeah, Universe Mode not being mentioned at all leads me to believe it's the same as last year. The only reason I even know it's in the game is because of the achievements list.

I'll probably still play around in Universe a fair bit only because My Career seems focused on your one CAW whereas Universe is the best way to do matches as anybody else.

Right, My Career is just for current gen.

There's basically no reason to get the game for last gen at all. I'm sure some places will do a trade-in promotion though where you get last gen and then trade it in a month later but I doubt it's worth it at all.

I think you are right. That's why they are so tight lipped about it. I'm waiting until a review comes out by an actual consumer or maybe IGN and then make a choice. But like I said before, I'm stepping up from WWE 13 on a fricking Wii to 2K15 on a 360. So already I'll be overwhelmed by the overall quality of the game. My career is great, but I think they should have the option if you want to have to develop XP points or not. I'm not a xp points fan. I kinda enjoy it when I play the SSX series and the Lego series, but I never really got into it when it came to wrestling. Perhaps if I actually saw the demo and played it for myself, I would be impressed.
