Wyatt would seem to be a guy who is a good enough talker to end up erasing all the damage that's been done with the idiotic way he's been booked for the last several months.

Shame I don't have a whole lot of faith in WWE to get to that point.

I don't know. I think being a good talker can only do so much. You can cut fucking brilliant promos all you want. Those scary, haunting, intimidating words don't carry the same weight coming from a guy who loses left and right. As many times as he's talked a big game and cut some creepy promo only to job, why would anyone not listen to him and just be like "LOL Okay, guy"?

I feel like WWE has enough lapsed viewers that would take Wyatt seriously if they just resumed watching and Wyatt was, you know, winning matches. And most of the internet community would accept it because we all want him to be taken seriously even if we know they cocked things up really badly with him earlier.

At the moment though it seems clear that WWE hasn't got a fucking clue what to do with him.

He might be a good enough talker, but he shouldn't have to be. Not yet.

Roman doesn't NEED money in the bank. If the endgame is for this guy to be "the man", they don't have to take the most direct route. A loss to Wyatt could have started one of those pesky moneymaking storyline devices called A GODDAMN FEUD! Waytt can talk, but that seems to be all they have him doing. Talking and losing. Nobody wants to back a constant loser, even if they're a heel. He's supposed to be "The New Face of Fear", and they book him to be just "A Minor Inconvenience". Instead of both guys getting something out of this (Reigns beats two strong competitors, but loses to Bray in what was already unfair, but against a suppsed legit threat to boot), Roman gets more poised to pick up SuperCena's cape, Bray goes back to fucking off somewhere, and Mox gets a rub by association to the golden child.

Reigns eventually winning the war could be explained away later by Bray. Right now, it would just be empty, unsatisfying words from someone who appears to not be able to get it accomplished in the ring.
