Quiet was revealed to have two hidden unlockable costumes with one based on MGS 1. Both are rewards for beating certain missions.

There's a Sniper Wolf cameo costume (redo the Quiet fight on Extreme) and another uniform that actually looks pretty great (you should unlock it normally, make sure to do the mine clearing side mission).

Yeah, I haven't used D Walker a single time yet but keep developing stuff for it just in case it gets to a point where stealth isn't really going to do much. I already know something really soon seems to be heading that way for me.

Picked this up today, about to boot it up.

On the way home some kids (about 16/17) were talking about games and said Metal Solidier game sounded good but didn't understand why IGN gave it a 10 because they had never heard of it

There's so much shit cut from this game because Konami wanted to get it out the door though. This spoils stuff, so don't watch until you've finished the game, but goddamn.

Two bugs were recently discovered that can cause save files to become corrupted. Konami managed to find the source of the problem and gave a quick fix that should help prevent it until a patch arrives.

Saw that after I was done with Episode 29 w/Quiet and Sinful Butterfly. Thankfully nothing happened but I will do save backups nonetheless.

Finished Chapter 1 earlier, and going to do all the story missions and side ops left. All I will say is thank god for D Walker development

Had to extract a container so I climbed it, started the Fulton process so I go along with it. Random guy shows up, is like an A++ in combat, shoots the container causing me to fall of and then he shoots the balloon causing the container to crush me. I love the game lol.

I enjoyed the ending at the time, but looking back it was kind of stupid. It could have been done a lot better, but with all the cut shit we already know about (and even with that episode 51, some story things remain unfinished), the original plan might have been better.

which is taken care of in Episode 51. Eli and his child soldiers have been exposed to it. The other children are fine since their voice hasn't matured yet and can be given the Wolachia treatment. Eli is growing quicker due to the imperfect cloning, and is almost active when Psycho Mantis takes the parasites out of his throat before they can mate. I am guessing that the parasites outside of the host body are pretty much dead. Or atleast that's what I got from it. If you then look at the timeline credits (two sets) it follows up with Eli going to London.

lol there's going to be crazy mods soon, some people have figured out what the data1.dat file has entirely and it is easy enough to edit and repack (PC only for now as far as I know). For example:

Modified file available online to do a simple replacement of the original file to get Quiet back if you have done Epi 45, without changing anything else. I did it this week, it works fine.

Go into Weapon Customisation
Pick a gun
Use Left Click to select a slot
Can now pick anything for that slot, provided you have it unlocked for something
You can even pick items in slots that are blocked out (with the red box thing)

Go into it. Total mind fuck.

Had no idea it existed till someone told me about it. Starts a side quest that involves the recovered mother base photos.

You'll occasionally get side ops listed as find wandering mother base soldier. When you complete these, you get photos of people from the past that Paz knew. You can then take these 1 at a time to her for more scenes to progress this 'quest'.
