Seriously, you people need to relax. Does anyone believe Ambrose would be a better draw than HHH? Hell no. This Rumble was played almost perfectly. Super fun and exciting.

Probably wouldn't do worse though.

Didn't mind the finish, really like how Dean and HHH took in the moment which is what is always cool with the rumble and that was a sweet WHATAMANEUVER combo HHH used to win.

BUT

It woulda been a lot cooler if Ambrose won just out of "WOOOOOO MOTHAFUCKA" value.

No way is Ambrose going to have the one time a year fan watch Mania. HHH will get those fans. Getting Mania fans is not about getting the weekly fans but getting g the one time a year fan. The weekly fan will watch regardless.

I think you over-estimate how much of a draw Triple H is to those "one time a year" fans.

I am firmly not an every-week watcher, and pretty much only am excited about Rumble and WM at this point in my life

someone like Ambrose in the WM main event entices me to actually watch

HHH in 2016 as champion is probably the least-entertaining thing I can even think of right now

But you spend how much time around d wrestling on a daily basis? I highly doubt you will not be getting Mania now. The super casual fans is what Mania is about.

If the rumored card of like Strowman/Undertaker and HHH/Reigns and Ambrose/Jericho is actually going to take place, I honestly probably won't watch it

I think wrestlemania is almost its own brand. More the whole show than the main event. The spectacle if you will.

HHH is not that much of a marquee name. Like people don't really give THAT much of a fuck about him. He could probably draw a bit more but not a huge amount. The Wrestlemania brand would be what draws.

Ambrose while maybe not being super mainstream has the potential to be part of the future of your company and you have to take chances on guys, even if they aren't the chosen one.

In saying that, nothing wrong with the finish tonight. Good royal rumble, I enjoyed it.

Very true. If we had Cena or DB also I would understand everyone's gripe but look at the roster. Hell, now you don't need to worry about HHH/Rock anymore either.
