The best "jobbers" were proper enhancement talent.
I'm actually not really able to remember any pure enhancement guys for the most part, as we're so removed from the era which is why my mentions for the most part have been misfires.

But realistically you aren't supposed to remember them, there's a select few that you do.

The Hardy brothers, Scott Taylor, Justin Credible, Thrasher, Mosh, etc. all started as enhancement in WWE. They didn't have characters. They had terrible unmemorable ring attire, they had no entrances, but they were kept around to do the JOB.

Tracy Smothers wasn't a jobber on the indies but was a jobber in WWE.

I realize this is going nowhere, but my main point is it's hard to label EXACTLY what a jobber is.

There are certain guys that were total jobbers, aka they are puny little dinkholes that enhanced the size, strength and ability of the featured talent. They guys who didn't tan, really didn't hit the gym and were essentially twinks. Those are the REAL jobbers... crash test dummies that make the top stars look like super heroes.

Dwayne Gill is a perfect example of that. His job was to take the moves and lose in 2 minutes. Obviously he had the run as Gillberg, but he was the James Elsworth of his time. Him being part of the company because he made the Razor Ramons and the Undertakers look fan fucking tastic.

A guy like Barry Horowitz made a great career out of it because he was so fucking professional. He got a push beyond jobber. Even as a jobber yeah he'd do his 2 minute squashes but he'd also get to go 5-10 minutes and get some "shit" in.

Alright, I don't know what I'm getting at.... just having an inner monologue about jobbers in my head.
