I'm in favor of a company-wide ban on kicking out of finishers unless special permission is granted. Also, more finishes should come out of nowhere with moves that aren't always used to end matches. Eventually the fans will begin to buy into pin attempts again, and kicking out of big moves will mean something.

Right now the only finisher they seem to be going out of the way to protect is the F-5, as even guys like Joe and Strowman who would've probably kicked out of anyone else's finisher in the modern WWE landscape have been put down by one F-5. And it's seemingly only being protected to ensure Roman can be the first guy in a year to kick out of it. In theory that should be a "holy shit" moment but since they've been burying finishers for years it's just going to come across as forced. Need to apply that rule across the board if they want to re-condition the fans and give moments like that the full effect. |
