No, again maybe that was a part of their relationship. Why is it only an issue way after the fact. I know people don't come forward until later a lot of the time, but this was a man she continued seeing. It's just a much harder sell, they were in a relationship, then it was an issue only after it ended.

There’s definitely “murky water” around some of these circumstances, and the “power dynamic” in relationships can lead to some questions being asked, as it is in a lot of these cases. Being in a relationship doesn’t mean you can just do wtf you like, some people end up in violent/abusive relationships for years before they conjure the courage to leave, or kill their partner, or often end up dead themselves before they get there.

Definitely very true. There are power dynamics in all sorts of relationships. There’s obviously domestic abuse and control, that sort of thing, but there are external power dynamics too. If you are an employer, you shouldn’t be having sex with employees. It’s just way too dicey. Fame also comes with power.

100% agree with that. That said, there has to be a point where certain situations can't fit into the automatically guilty assumption.

Riddle can be a total prick, but if they had a relationship where they liked.getting rough with each other, and it only became a problem after the fact, it's just not the same as all the rest of the assaults.

Ending a relationship badly does not change previously consented acts into assaults. Of all the acquisitions, 1 stands out, and it's the only one I don't think is legit.

She said she chose to blow him because she didn't want to have sex. That is not the same as what the other victims had to go through. They were in a relationship both before and after that. I am not condoning what Riddle did, but being a prick, a bad husband, a cheater, and a bad boyfriend, but that doesn't mean it was an assault.
