I might be getting too cerebral with this, but when it comes to something like saving WCW, you have to keep in mind they were really getting smashed since about 1999. The WWF was fine for a bit after that. Saving WCW might have just given us an alternate TNA. But if you actually prop up WCW, that could potentially harm the WWF and take us down another dark path.

I dunno, I might be getting too far in the reeds in how destined some things are to be doomed.
