Yep, Driver 1 and 2 were on PS1, then there was Driv3r (yes, that's how they spelled Driver 3) and Driver: Parallel Lines (PL was also on Nintendo Wii) on PS2 and XBOX, Driver ’76 on PSP and Driver: San Francisco on PS3, Wii and 360.

"Clone" being used as a derogatory term in gaming has never really sit well with me. You can't copyright game mechanics/concepts so you can't blame other developers from wanting to take a stab at something. It's a question of do they put enough of a unique spin on things and does it play well. "Doom clone" and "Tomb Raider clone" were the two biggest terms always being thrown out but those games were good so I wouldn't see the problem in another game playing just like them. If the "clone" failed miserably, that'd be one thing, but a lot of genres wouldn't be where they are today without trying new things with one basic concept.
