The stadium sizes have nothing to do with why the Yankees are able to buy so many free agents. IThat's a minor factor compared to all the TV revenue they get. The Yankees get so money cash just within New York by TV and Radio that it's ridiculous.

The Sox new owners have been spending near the same as the Yanks the last few seasons because they figured out how to maximize the money, like the old owners never did. NESN (the Red Sox version of "yes") used to be a pay station, it no longer is. It's basic cable, which allows more people to watch and more ads to be sold. Monster seats, 2-3 new front row seats, right field roof w/ tables, and a huge bar, and top of the line food. New conessions, a new conssesion section, better food, quality, choices, etc... All things the old owners never could or wanted to do. |

I pretty much agree with what Vel said in the post above about Stadium size, just think of how much more money a team makes off everything, tickets, food, etc |
