Watching PTI, they brought up an interesting point. Who do you think is more cursed? Nomar or ARod?
First ARod leaves Seattle and Texas and both teams get better the year after. Then he almost gets traded to the Red Sox and they win the title while his team chokes to them. Nomar suffered through many years in Boston, including that Boone shot last year. He was pretty much the face of the team for many years. In addition, he was actually on this team just until the trading deadline. Then, he gets traded to, at the time, the second most cursed team in baseball in the Cubs. Now with the Red Sox winning, he is once again a member of the most cursed franchise in baseball. (though he now is a free agent technically) I think Nomar's bad luck outweighs Arods just a little just cuz at least Arod finally made it back to the playoffs, but it is pretty close. |
