I just don't see Nintendo taking emulator type coding for their systems. If it would have allowed older games to be played online they would have definitely said so as it would have been some of the bigger news the show would have. They might surprise me though.

Well the games from the service will probably be downloaded with the emulator everytime you get it, so they could always update that aspect of it
