![]() Overall not too terribly impressed with the Nintendo conference. The backwards compatability seems to be the only interesting feature and I have my emulators for that. I'll probably end up with all 3 systems because I'm a consumer whore and am willing to shell out the cash, however PS3 looks like its going dominate this time around. |

Yeah totally what he said. I personally still feel they don't need new consoles just yet as the three still have life left in them but you know, what can ya do. Also, everyone is so up about the backwards compatibility with them all yet on PS2 I hardly ever used PS1 games on it because afterwards when I tried a PS2 game 97% of the time it gave me trouble loading them up, may have just been me. Which brings up the whole disc read error thing and problems Sony has had with the PS2, I mean is it just going to be the same thing over again? Maybe worse considering how much is going to be packed in that thing? I personally think Microsoft has a good shot at hanging themselves with the whole graphics thing. While not a graphics whore I would prefer it to be more a focus in my gaming machine instead of being able to hook almost totally unrelated objects to them (that goes for all of them). It feels less and less like game consoles and more like this whole digital hub that could turn my coffee pot on at 6:30 and turn the lights off at 10, I want it to play my games, not run my life. If anyone sees the point I'm trying to make here just jump in at any time and explain it because I'm not one for connecting my thoughts and words together that great. Also on a sidenote: I think the 360 is damn ugly |
