And once again, Cena is an afterthought. Not since Goldberg has the WWE killed someone's heat so quickly.

And Triple H has nothing to do with it!

they kind of did that while he was on SmackDown, as well.

Either the WWE doesn't want him to be popular, or they feel that comfortable in his staying power.

I'm sorry. Which Smackdown were you watching? Cena usually opened the show or at least cut a decent sized promo, had at least one more appearance, and then almost always wrestled in the main event. The shows were built around him.

This is just like Benoit's treatment after WM20. He's not used. Out of sight out of mind is the quickest way to kill someone's heat. And then when the crowd turns lukewarm towards him, its his "fault." And Triple h steps in to once again "save the ratings."

I hate to sound like the typical paranoid Triple H hater, but there's just no logical reasoning behind the way Cena's being used.

I can remember the SmackDown shows centered around a certain storyline that didn't involve Cena, and then Cena comes in, does a promo or something (usually with JBL), and then we never hear about him for the rest of the night unless it was a PPV rundown or something like that.

If you want to push a champion or a soon-to-be champ that much, I would hope you would want to center you're shows around the main event match for your PPVs instead of your midcards. Of course, maybe that would be a double-edged sword, as no one would really like the midcards being put on the back burner like that, but it seemed as if the WWE Title was just nothing to get that excited about, to me, anyway.
