Need for Speed is alright. Love that you're dropped in a multiplayer world of cops and robbers immediately and that is also the single-player. A bit disappointing it's like Hot Pursuit rather than Most Wanted... Miss the crazy crashes.

Sorry Hasney. I didn't mean to be so flippant about your hard drive situation. It is going to be a serious problem this generation. I tend to buy digitally now on the PS3 because my disc drive is stupidly, ridiculously loud, and I am debating whether to upgrade or just end up with that sucker 95% full in the next year.

I thought you were joking anyway, so no worries. I used the embarrassed smiley because it's half full due to the amount of crap I have installed.

At the time of that post, I had the following:

I've now added Need for Speed, Putty Squad and Blacklight. Going to need one of those Samsung 2TB HD's soon. Only ones that fit by being 9.5mm high.

Really glad my PS3 is hacked with that drive noise and just played off an external hard drive. That drive noise is as bad as the Dreamcast.

I had two PS3s in the past where it wasn't an issue at all. First one YLOD, Second one I sold through a dry patch, then I got this new one and it seems they replaced the laser rail with the motor from an Epson inkjet printer.

NBA2K14 is awesome on the PS4, my brother got a new PS4 in yesterday and I was trying to draw fouls on our first game against each other.

I ended up blowing a 20 point lead b/c I oversold like 55 attempts to draw a foul.

Press circle twice while on D and enjoy.

I doubt they'd take it, it's marked as a bundled copy and not for resale.

I think I'm getting AC4 for Christmas, so I'll need to made BF4 and Lego Marvel last me til then.

From what I've read, BF4 is pretty good when it works, but people are having more matches crash than they finish.

The weeks after the launch things were tough, but there are more clean matches than crashes now. I play it on previous gen and played it on next-gen and while I ran into issues it's been pretty good since the 2nd and especially 3rd patch.

Currently they're ironing out the last few crash conditions with occur during map loading. Aside from that, I would recommend this to anybody and reassure them it's not as bad as what they may read - being somebody who actually plays it and all.

It's not nearly as bad as it's played out. It's just another case of the Internet turning a mole hill into a mountain. I play it on 360 and One and have had very very few issues.

Yeah bar the issues with the DLC becoming available and maybe one match failing to load, I've had no real issues with BF4 either.

Anybody having some weird issues after today's maintenance?

Was in a party and got booted for no reason. Wouldn't let me back in with either the join or the invitation. Just kept kicking me an error message. I couldn't even create my own party and bring my friends in.

The Sun's subscription service was doing a deal where you got £10 PSN credit on their service on a £1 trial and didn't check to see if a card was already registered. Was going to post it here, but they were sold out once I made my 5th account.

Had £40 credit, the PS3 version was on sale for £25 and then paid the £10 upgrade and had £5 change. Winner.

Is there a list anywhere of what free games there are on PSN for the PS4? Also, can you download games that were released for PS3 that will work on PS4?

Been giving my next-gen choice a lot of thought recently as I now have money to buy either a PS4 or Xbox. Xbox's lean towards tv apps, movies etc doesn't interest me at all as I just want a gaming machine.

Need PS+ to get the regular monthly free PSN games which only are available to get for that particular month.

Digital PS3 games won't be playable on the PS4 until Sony brings over Gaikai. Sony hinted only a few games would be available at launch and then would gradually increase over time.
