I'm curious to see how much of Lance Storms mic work people have actually seen too. It's not bad just because it's not funny and full of catch phrases.

What he did on the stick in ECW, and even WCW was much different than what he did in WWE, which was very limited.
No, he's not Flair or Foley. But that doesn't make him incompetent.

Even in WWE his whole "If I can be serious for a moment... Splendid" thing worked, and he obviously knew what he was doing with it.
Just because they sent Stone Cold out there to chant boring at him, doesn't mean it has to be true.

I've watched much of Lance Storms career, ECW, WCW (mainly), WWE, and even a couple of matches in ROH. Lance Storm is a great wrestler, between the ropes he was great. When he got on the mic... not so much. He was on the level of Chris Benoit or Dean Malenko, which is to say sure he was passable, he got his message across, but he wasn't good.

Mr. Anderson's promos are very good, he comes across and an annoying arrogan prick, and that's actually how you feel when he talks. His promos are heat machines.

Plus he did incredible things of note all the time in the ring. Last thing he did of note...probably his last match. And the one before that, and the one before that.

For those who only watch WWE and aren't familiar with his part-time work since retiring, his last mainstream WWE match was at ONS against Chris Jericho.
Fucking love that match. I'd say it's of note.

lance storm vs. bryan danielson was a pretty solid match. think it was in 2006.

his wcw run was crazzzzzzzy good too. sucks the crowd didnt get the "boring" gimmick though. that was the worst thing to happen to mat wrestling...well ever tbh. instead of the crowd taking it as his promos were boring (which was the gimmick) they just started chanting boring at chain...and wwe trolls have stuck to that tradition for some time. WORST. THING. EVER.

...thank you jerry lawler, if the guy would actually attended production meetings he would have to put that over. instead he slammed the boring bit during the work...*sigh* and now bdc`s of the world exist...

Lance Storm had so many great opener PPVs for the WWE. He was a master of the art of wrestling a great opener and getting the crowd hot. I'm a huge mark for solid openers that are all about hot wrestling and no bells and whistles.

i wouldn`t tout lance as "a great opener." yeah he had tons of great opners but lance knew his role on the card and played it well. lance wasnt a mark forhimself never tried to put himself over when it was about the show and not him. lance was "a good hand." which used to be a major position on any bookers roster. the guy you will always get exactly what you need from. if you a great match to put this green kid over, go to lance, solid 7 min opner? go to lnace. credible ic champ? go to lance.

...sort of thing used to matter...now it`s t-shirts sales...and its the MARKS thats are talkin about it...ugh...the world has gone backward.

Ken Anderson is terrible. Doesn't really matter if it's said by Lance Storm, Ric Flair, or Barry Horowitz. I'd rather watch a Great Khali/Hornswoggle segment than a Ken Anderson segment.

Well, I kinda have to agree with Mr Storm... Especially since he was such a MASTER on the Mic skills and selling a promo himself... I think Lance is just jealous that Anderson might be on the way to beating his record of us changing the channel faster than we did with his promos...

If I can just be serious for a ZZZZzzzzz... But he did kick ass in the ring..

He wouldn't be blogging that stuff if he was still employed somewhere because that would be unprofessional, and he wouldn't have the time.

You can assume shit without knowing anything about the guy. Or you can know the facts:
He still can, and does get work if he wants to. ROH will have him at any time, and has.
He still could work for the WWE. He had a job as a trainer or road agent, and he stopped working because he wanted to be at home with his wife and kids.
He was responsible with his money and is in a position to be retired at 40.

There's no reason for him to be bitter. I think you're assuming that he was fired from WWE, and can't get a job when both things aren't true at all.
