Another thought. With Cena just releasing an album, I would think the WWE would want to keep him on top so's to promote, promote, promote promote... one thing you have to give them credit for is their marketing abilities. Guys with hot books, etc are usually on TV every week.
And they probably WILL try to push him untill after his record's been out for a while. Which is unfortunate, because he'd get pushed whether or not the fans are behind him. That could be as bad for the belt as Christian coming over from Smackdown and dominating.

But yeah., Christian could do some seriously great shit with that belt.

Now I'm just getting back in watching wrestling, but from what you've guys have been saying, Cena's popularity is waining just as they put the belt on him. Now I'd have to say (granted not much recent 'rasslin knowings) that they probably held off giving him the belt until his album was released.

That would be great for Christian, it would add a lot to his character, which is pretty much perfect as it is.

Sadly...

1) They could have released the record sooner. I don't know why they held off. They could have even released it closer to around Wrestlemania FFS. And I don't mean they should have, I mean they were physically able to

2) Cena's popularity was waning before WM, and was low enough there were JBL chants in the match.

Eh, I'm not so sure. Big Show did it a couple years ago and it seemed to work out fine. He was jobbing to Jeff Hardy on RAW and when he was traded to Smackdown he beat Lesnar for the title within a couple of months.
