Most of them blame their lack of interest in the fact that Trips is dominating (Not an issue anymore, but) or legends are on top when they shouldn't even be wrestling (Though some of them bring up Michaels, so they can go fuck themselves), etc. I mean, Austin's a deterrent to a lot of my friends because they're sick of him essentially coming in, killing someone, and leaving. It's not that we hate Austin, it's just that role gets boring. Especially since he has a tendency to walk out.

They want real stars, not the occasional stand-in, so I think if wrestling had some good people....They probably wouldn't even care.

I'm not ashamed at all. I got a bunch of wresting friends, some are even more into it than I am. And I will even wear the shirts in public. But I do admit it was odd at Wrestlemania, since I ususally see a few people in the Detroit area wearing wrestling shirts. But all of a sudden, in one weekend, everyone is. Of course they all weren't from around here, but it was surreal to see.
