Are you embrassed to be a wrestling fan?
Well what of it. Do you feel like a tool when you say you watch wrestling? Do you even say that? Or do you flip the channel really quick if you hear someone walking in the room?

I personally am not embrassed to be a wrestling fan. While I don't go around introducing myself as a wrestling fan, if it comes up in the natural course of a conversation, I'll mention it and go on. While I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm proudly a wrestling fan, in no way am I ashamed of it.

PErsoanlly, the only thing I do that I'm ashamed of is my Cher impression at the local clubs. But you've gotta pay the bills...

I'm not ashamed that I like wrestling, but I don't feel the need to flont it or even let everyone in on it. Most of my friends don't like or care about wrestling, and they know I watch but probably think I'm more casual than I do. I have a few friends who love it too, so obviously they share the same thing.
Basically, I love wrestling but I'm not a wrestling tshirt kinda guy.

I like wrestling and I realise its cheesy, but heck, I definatly see the finer points in watching WWE than something like will and grace or friends

No. I don't bring it up usually, in fact I don't think a lot of my friends even know, not because I hide it, just, the topic never comes up. Though if people do get all "You know it's fake right?" all I need to do is tell them I did it briefly, and then they get all excited and ask me to show them how to do stuff.

I thought it was shit. I'm not "embarrassed" when a band I like makes a bad record, or when a TV show I like makes a really bad episode, or whatever.

I watch WWE because I like wrestling. Just because some shit is stupid, odesn't make me embarrassed or ashamed. It might disappoint me. It might even anger me (Depending on the context and medium), but embarrassed because something stupid happened on a mainstream TV show?

I guess I'm a little bit more open in my public expression of my love for WWE, in that unlike the person who says they're not a t-shirt person, probably a 1/3 of my t-shirts are WrestleMania ones or the classic DX one I have, and I got a couple hats too, but other than that, unless someone asks me about it it's like the Army for me: Don't ask, don't tell.

I love wrestling, never ashamed to admit it, course most of the time I'm usually wearing a wrestling related product, be it a shirt, sweater, hat, what have you. Whenever I leave my house I wear a hat, some days I choose a D'backs hat, sometimes it's a Stone Cold hat.
I own about 150 tshirts from the WWF/E, many jersies, baseball, football, and a few hockey, all are from WWF/E.
Most of them are kinda out of date, only about twenty are from the last two years.

Most of the stuff is from the 90s, and I can't fit in to it anymore. When that happens I try to get it signed by whoever is on the shirt, alot eaiser than it sounds by the way. It's kind of weird to see Brother Ray, Brother D-Von, and Brother Runt sign a shirt as the Dudleys.

Given the amount of shit that people watch on Tv these days, I don't see why wrestling should be singled out. People act like their programmes are so superior yet they're just as fucking stupid/pointless and FAKE.

  • Make wrestling references. Often.
  • Talk about the goods and bads. For example, I'm laughing with friends about the injured 'Taker in a cage match.

That wont do list is the same as mine except i would add the make wrestling references to that list. I can't even be bothered talking about the goods and the bads unless its with another wrestling fan. But what I will do is shut up anyone who complains that its fake and uses that as a reason not to watch.
