No. He can only be unlocked by playing through Rey's RTWM and
SPOILER: show
After winning the 4-way ladder match to retrieve the contract on SD! in Week 8, you must choose "NO" when you're prompted about whether or not to forgive Swagger. This takes you down the "Good" Rey timeline from EC on through WM in Rey's story. In like week 10 (I think) you start off in a handicap match as Rey v. Swagger and someone else (forgot who), but then RVD shows up on stage and says sorry for being late, blah, blah, blah, races down to the ring and gets involved, and the match is restarted as a tag match. I can't remember for sure, but either after winning the match with Rey or RVD (I think it's this), or beating the storyline WM match with Swagger for the WHC, RVD unlocks.

If you just meant the location, he's in the Green Room. Go from the parking lot into the front of the arena and take the hallway to the left, as if you're headed to the Trainer or GM's room, but look on your left and use your map as well (it helps), find a door that is labeled "100x - Green Room", walk up to it and hit "X" or "A" (the action button) to open the door, walk up to The Rock and hit "X" or "A" again to challenge him to a match.

You have to have done every challenge match before that by hunting out the right guy at the right week or The Rock won't show.

So I didn't realize that the all unlocked DLC was only 80 MS points. Thought you had to buy that $10 "Fan Axxess" pack to get it. So I said fuck it and just unlocked everything.

Finished Christian's RTWM. It was awesome, as everyone has said.

Also had a TLC match where I set the ladder against the ring to run up it and jump to the standing ladder. I almost did it, but the standing ladder was at an angle so I actually wound up kind of getting on the ladder at an angle, hitting my face and falling off. Made me laugh for a few minutes. Had to watch the replay a few times and even saved it.

Fucking love the physics in this game.

Miz and Jericho have joined up with Primo (of all people) to form a stable. On the same night, Miz/Jericho had a tag team title shot while Miz defended the US title in a triple threat against Primo and Morrison. I had Primo win the belt with the intention of having Miz and Jericho win the belts, then Team Awesome would all be carrying gold.

During the tag match, the ref takes a bump. As Miz, I grab a chair to take advantage. The ref comes to really fast so I go to put the chair down so he doesn't take it from me. Didn't realize the put-down button from 10 now THROWS weapons and I got DQed.

So on a team that also has Chris Jericho and The Miz, Primo is the only one with gold.

I love Universe Mode!

Am I the only one that hates having the Sledgehammer always available in the game? I know it's been in since like SmackDown! 2, but I always found it to be, realistically, the most legitimately devastating weapon in wrestling. I've always had a problem with it always being available.

Also, wish they'd either make the weapons you get from under the ring random or do something like the Extreme Rules match, but with hotkeys. For example, just using A would give you a chair, holding A and RB would give you the sledge, holding A and LB would give you a kendo stick, etc.

Yeah I'd love random weapons, have it be like No Mercy, with like 10 or so weapons in random order. I also hate that the sledge is also there. I like that all you can do is a gut shot though, but perhaps they should add in a head shot with the hammer as a weapon finisher? That way it does as much damage as it should, and could finish a match.


Speaking of weapon damage, I was in universe, and DX had a title match against the Hart Dynasty in a No DQ, elimination match. Smith was gone after one Pedigree. That left Kidd to a barrage of Pedigrees, SCM's, Spinebusters on the steps, countless chairshots etc. So I decide to finish him off. Cue another spinebuster to the stairs, Pedigree, and picked him up for a final sledge to the gut. 1....2.....KICKOUT. WTF?

I mean, I know I'm playing on hard, but really? I've also got finisher damage cranked up, and weapon damage cranked up further.

Just to add to it, I tagged in Michaels, and Tyson Kidd goes down to a SCM.

So apparently SCM > Sledge Hammer.

Gotta love being detail-oriented. Couldn't stand having all of my downloaded Nexus guys wearing totally different shirts/armbands so I edited them all using the same Nexus paint tool logo. All 8 of them (the 6 there now plus Tarver and Sheffield)

Like I said before though, I do like how a lot of matches have custom commentary (mentioning history between the two, etc), and that in Universe they talk about upcoming matches and whatnot.

I'd like to see more of that, and I would have liked to see wrestlers who "sit at ringside" actually have commentary. During one of the RTWM's there's one where someone sits in at the booth but never really talks except about the storyline. I'd have liked them to record a few minutes of reactions, like "woah ho ho!" and whatnot and have that play in place of one of the main commentators once in a while.

This game is full of glitches, but I still love it. Haven't had this much fun with a wrestling game since Day of Reckoning 2.

Also, you can have title matches anytime you want in story designer with the cut scenes and everything. It's just not recognized in the my superstars section, so you have to change it manually after the event, if there is a title change. Better than assigning all your champs the unlockable belts anyway.

Ladder matches are the best thing about the game. Dibiase was about to leave the ring, but I hit him with a neck breaker and Dibiase fell through the ring and then popped up. My wife screamed with laughter when I showed her it. I was on top of the ladder and maybe Chris Masters threw me off it with a hip toss. I fell onto the steel steps in the ring and he flew out of it onto the mats. Also I went to throw the steps into the ring, they bounced off the top rope and hit me in the head.

This game is awesome

Had an awesome ladder match as Evan Bourne vs Jimmy Snuka. First awesome spot was when I drop kicked snuka off the ladder on to the double stacked tables. Next, I hit my ladder finisher which is a bulldog, but it went all theway to the arena floor. Finally, I won when snuka won a grapple on the ladder, and tried to throw me off, but I reversed it, and lifted him over me. Grabbed the belt and won.

I saved the highlights, and I'm going to upload a reel once I make it.
