I freaking loved SR, even though I think they picked entirely the wrong people to play Superman and Lois-- nothing against Routh or Bosworth, but it was pretty obviously written to be Superman much later into his career, so they should've cast older actors instead of two twenty-somethings. I don't really get why people are so pissed about the aliens. Raiders of the Lost Ark had a box that melts peoples faces off. It's just racism to other's cultural believes. Just because it's the Christian dogma it's ok, but if you try to bring some South American/Mayan dogma it's end of the world.

Oh No! Aliens in the "real" world. Guess they hated ET too?
They don't like it because the Mayan beliefs are false.
