Some people are worried that Generico will be "ruined" and he'll just be turned into another run of the mill guy. It seems like the worry is unfounded. WWE have been fantastic with barely altering an indy guys' schtick when they've brought them in recently.

At worst, they get watered down into a more one-dimensional form of their existing persona; there's really very little discernible difference between Kassius Ohno and Chris Hero, or Antonio Cesaro and Claudio Castagnoli, for example. It's not like we're going to see Kevin Steen, wrestling electrician any time soon.
