Would Batista help the WWE currently?
Personally, I think Batista could help the WWE out right now. He has star power and brings something that the WWE main event lacks right now.

Seriously, if Cena does have a lengthy reign, I'd love it if Batista came back and they picked up the exact same storyline they had going into WM26. Fuck, that was an awesome character.

"help" is probably a bit strong given the team/show nature of the business, drawing power is pretty much irrelevant today but he'd certainly be a spectacle/has the aforementioned star power that creates an atmosphere. I'd definitely like to see it, love Big Dave, especially that heel character, was the very best thing in wrestling for those few months until he left

I feel like they are teasing Orton falling out of favor with The Authority and it'd be logical for Triple H to bring back Batista.

I think life is a bit too good for him atm, not being on the road, the film career picking up a bit, taking no bumps etc can hope tho

Heel Batista was really great towards the end. It'd be interesting to see him return and be Triple H's favorite guy next to Randy Orton. Batista as World Heavyweight Champion while Orton holds the WWE Title would be an awesome visual. Evolution vs. John Cena & Daniel Bryan could easily be an impressive Elimination Chamber co-main event.

That really isn't going to help things out in the long run, might just set them back even farther. While I like the idea that they are scouting the indys it does show how desperate they have become trying to find seasoned talent for the future of the company. You take away Cena and Orton right now and what you have left is a boatload of wrestlers the company honestly doesn't seem to have much faith in or know what to do with.

WWE called an audible and put Daniel Bryan as their star for WM XXX.

Even if they fucked up hardcore, which they did, with Batista, he is still a money making heel. People do not want to see this guy win, yet the "Authority" shoves him down our throats.

Batista is hated and he needs to revel in the hate.

Have Batista act like he did before he left in 2010. Be an arrogant Kanye West wannabe, and people will start to love to hate him. Have Orton come out of the shell of the authority a little bit and start to unleash his sadistic shit on Daniel Bryan. Keep Daniel Bryan as the voice of the people, the hijack crowd, the people who are not satisfied.

If this happens, we have a great WM main event on our hands. With the addition of the Brock vs. Taker match and the Cena vs. Wyatt match (with Hogan thrown in somewhere), a great tag team champ match, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale, the Shield implosion, the Real Americans implosion, this could be a very spectacular show.
