Rate The Video Game day 1- Super Mario Bros
This is being done in the wrestling forum so I figured we could try it here. Today's game is the classic Super Mario Bros for the 8 (edited thank you SuperSlim) bit Nintendo. This was one of it's finer games as it featured a plumber attempting to save a princess.

Difficulty level: 8 (some jumps were hard to do, also it is hard to stop sometimes.)

Time needed to complete the game: 10 took me a few years to actually beat world 8 but once I'd beat it I could complete the whole game in about 30 mins using the warps so it lost its replayability

Cost means nothing when it comes to rating a game, and for a classic like Mario Bros, no need to rate the graphics, that would unfairly reduce the score. I still play Mario Bros on Mario All-Stars for NES and it's still one of the most difficult games I've ever played.

Anyway, I'll indulge this time. I'll use modified version ofMVP's system, since it's pretty much what I'd do anyway.

Gameplay: 10
Storyline: 10
Graphics: 9 (for the time that was pretty good)
Sound: 10 (still one of the best VG soundtracks to date)
Time Consumption: 9
Learning Curve: 9 (really easy to pick up, but not overly easy)

I remember beating it on the NES legit, not using the warps, I can't beat NES games nowadays though, mad hard.

Me and DrA played it on Mario Allstars on Zsnes online, took us ages to beat it.

Although it does lag a bit online so y'know.

To calculate the average, you take the sum of all the individual ratinga and then divide by the number of individual ratings. That is the second time in 2 days that I've explained this. I'm starting to worry about the American education system.

Sound: 10 (still have that tune in my head sometimes)
Time Consumption: 10 (difficult, but godamn fun too)
Learning Curve: 9 (I'll agree with FF here, it was pretty easy to pick up)

Despite the math, I'm still going to give it a 10. Changed the way I looked at videogames forever and that is more than enough to send it to the top.
