Lots of hockey news coming up

Well, just been reading on Yahoo and TSN and other sources, it seems the lockout is all but finished, with both the league and union agreeing on a salary cap (finally), and they just need to iron out the details. Apparently it will be finalized by the end of the month, but maybe that's being too optimistic. Who knows. They're saying the NHL players will be able to play in the Olypmics and whatnot too, which is cool.

In other news, Disney sold the Mighty Ducks. Brian Burke is gonna be their new GM In other sale news, apparently Lemieux is selling his ownership of the Penguins as well.

I dunno, looks like the NHL is finally getting on track, hopefully they'll get all this shit sorted and the 2005-06 season will be underway in no time.
