I don't really regularly watch TNA, but from what I've seen I like the look of this Abyss guy. He obviously looks like something of a cross between Mankind and Kane, but how about his back story? Is there a reason he wears a mask and carries chains with him?

I met him last summer. I asked him to hold a cute stuffed dog I won earlier in the day (The wrestling show took place at a sweet ass fair here). He originally said yes, then asked if it was going to end up on the internet. I told him no, but he asked me to hold it. I begged him to hold it, but he got upset, so I just held it.

apparently, according to TNA's Championship Counsil,
they've decided to change his finisher from "The Black Hole Slam"
to "TNA's Ratings". feeling they're the same thing.

the back ground story about abyss is he was the last kane in the wwe. they wanted him to be the one to unmask and shave his head, he told them no and they fired him,and brought the kane now in from wcw. remember the first three kanes had long hair.
