Do you think WWE will EVER fire Randy Orton?
I don't mean in 7 years time when he's a washed up jobber, but I mean in the next year or two.
He has more than warranted termination on so many occasions, yet they let him go unpunished for the most part, short suspension at most. My take is that, as big a headache as Orton has proven, TNA would snap him up in a second. The fact that Orton remains with the company, to me, proves that WWE do see TNA as a potential threat. |

Fifty years ago, they'd have had him upside down with a fucking black ball up his ass.

That's what I am saying. That's my point.
But it's giving these main event guys carte blanche to fuck up at will, with the knowledge that WWE are highly unlikely to release them for fear of handing an edge to TNA. RVD comes to mind too... despite the whole drug bust incident, they are still courting him for a new contract. In the past, he would have been fired almost immediately (see Duggan, J. Sheik, I.) |

I think Randy Orton will one day find himself out of the company, and I think the competition will snap him up. I don't think Orton will so much change the face of professional wrestling if that happens, but I think he would have a more entertaining run with the change of scenery.

That's the problem with the modern business.... by rights, TNA shouldn't have even considered Kurt Angle for employment, yet they're throwing him out there in Iron Man matches. It's a joke, but it's dog eat dog.
Guys who cannot behave, cannot work or cannot stay sober are being snapped up because of their name power, and put into high profile positions. There is no punishment in being fired, only rewards. |

Thing is, when Orton is off the reigns so to speak, he's actually a much better worker than he comes across as.
Still has some of the best rest holds in the business though |

While I don't agree with some of Orton's antics, one may have to ponder the contexts of which he has done some of the things he has done. I personally, which I do believe it, never heard of the story in which he shitted in the bag. The cunt thing, well, I dunno what was said that led to him screaming in that girl's face. And this recent thing with the hotel thing, I haven't read the thread recently (as in, since a day or so ago), but that's kind of vague of what lead to his dismissal from the tour about the room.
Listen to me trying to put a journalistic perspective on this, like a Keith Olbermann or a Murrow. Good night and good luck. ![]() |

Orton is going to have to do something severe to get fired, not just these frat boy antics.

Known types that I've managed to notice:
The pissed off "I'm gonna pull the head off this Gummi Bear" one. Relaxed. The "pondering what I'm gonna do for dinner later" one. Cocky. The "I forgot the next sequence". The "Do I got something on my face?" lock "Dude, check out the chick in the third row" of Doom. The "No, seriously, I feel like there's something on my face" one. One of my personal favorites, the "Haha, it's the darndest thing. I totally forgot what I was gonna say. Never mind" chinlock. |

Remember...Rhyno got let go for breaking a pot...this man shit in a woman's bag and destroyed a room to what recent rumors say. If he wasn't in the position he's in with now with the company, he would have been shit canned long ago.

If they were to fire Orton, I hope they job him out to Bobcore and Mark Henry first, thus uping the chance of him getting injured. Then fire him so he is worthless to TNA.

Let me slightly rephrase that, I think Orton has all the potential to be the next biggest thing in wrestling, I don't think WWE will capitolize on it, I KNOW TNA wouldn't be able to.

He is their Only main Eventer Under 30. He is the only one with potentially 10 years left. They need him. They need someone who will be here in 5 years. Honestly, HBK, HHH, Undertaker, and Batista dotn have that time at the top left. they will begone, and Edge and kennedy will be in their spot, the on the way out elders.

I remember when Orton was the shit, when he got injured and had his little updates, that was great, but I don't think I have ever been impressed with his in ring skills. I hope he is fired and ends up going to Japan, learning how to entertain well then finally ends up in TNA.

age means very little actually. Batista got pushed at a late age. Foley retired at like 34 I belive. Austin never hit the big time until late in his career, and he was the biggest thing ever.
So how can you forsee who will be retiring when, who will be in their spots, and who will be the future. Especially when you don't even know who will be around in a few years time. Sure Orton is young, but that doesn't mean he'll amount to shit. And I wouldn't count on HHH retiring anytime soon. See Ric Flair. |

Batista, the guy who keeps getting injued, is a good example of the dangers of a later push.

Maybe they should take him off the main roster and dump him in OVW on his downside for a couple years, teach him a lesson.
Or maybe they should bring in the Iron Sheik to put him in the camel clutch, break his back, fuck his ass and make him humble the old country way. |

We can name guys who got pushed late in life and count them on one hand. Or we can accept that only a small percent of guys can actually take the WWE grind late into their life. Look at Nash and Hall. They are younger than some, and around the same age as HBK. But they are DONE! You have to play the odds and assume Matt Leinart is going to be playing longer than Brett Favre
