Discussion of Boredom: What if TPWW started it's own promotion?
Here on the forums, we discuss everything from what we like, to what we think could have been better, to wtf were they thinking. We are like most forums just talking about how we like our wrestling and how we wish WWE could give us that. However, anytime this is brought up to any wrestling promotion (from WWE to the Indies), we are marked as the fans who think we know more than we know. They just want us to buy our tickets, sit in the seats, and shut the fuck up.

Well I bring up the question, what if we started our own promotion? Not the WWE or TNA type deal, but a small indy fed. It could be run like a tournament they do with some other promotions where it would be more of an annual thing and hire wrestlers for the length of the events. We could display who we like to see wrestle, how we think a wrestling federation ran, and display what we like to see.

Of course this is all hypothetical, and thus why I don't dare go into further detail (or correct some fuzzy ones). However, it would do either one of two things. It would teach us a leason in the difficulties of placing together a wrestling product, or show those wrestling promotions who don't think the fans really know shit that it's worth listenning to our opinions a little closer.

I'd be pushing for lazy big men to win everything, Noid would want a 13 page report on how to handle every feud, there would be total chaos on weather to job or push the RoH_style, you'd make a smart ass comment every time something was brought up in a meeting, BDC would be on some never ending speech about how he should be World Champion, half the board would insist that Flair be officially announced God during the first episode weather or not he was signed to a contract, the Americans and the Canadians would be deadlocked on weather to name is the "Bret Hart Wrestling Federation" or the "Shawn Michaels Championship Wrestling", someone would at some point suggest some Japanese guy be brought in which would make half the room threaten to walk out of the company, The Kliq would start spray painting "K4L" everywhere, every single time anyone said anything they would pause and repeat the last word...


















....word, which would mean nothing would ever get done.

Still, we'd probably be more organized than WWE.

Exactly right. The ideas would be too conflicting. A lot of people here would simply not be capable of running a fed. Take The One for instance. Not a dumb guy, but way to egotistical and selective with his tastes. I guarantee that a promotion would be based around his ego. How is that different from a WWE or TNA?

TBH, I'd probably hire Alienoid to be part of my booking team, were I to run a promotion. I think his booking, by itself, would likely tank a promotion, but I think he's got his uses, so to speak. I mean, Heyman and Bischoff did some great things, but I wouldn't want either of them running things either. It's just common sense.

However, 'Noid on the roster at least means you have no reason to say "I don't know what to do with (so and so)."
