Full Metal Jacket (first 45 mins) is the most perfect movie (segment) of all time
I am watching it for like the 2937th time right now on HBO West and wow, this movie is ****ing amazing. It is hilarious and intriguing and just holy shit.

I love this movie so ****ing much. It is beautiful how good it is. A THING OF BEAUTY I SAY.

Gunny Sarge is the man. FMJ is the best Vietnam War movie by far; tied with Platoon of course.

And the part where Gunny made Private Pyle eat that jelly donut.

The beginning of the movie is great. Everything is good untill they get out of the camp. Then it starts to suck. I think they should of just ended at the part where the guy shoots him self. That would of been a great movie right there. Short but Great.
