Games that need sequels
I'm going to start of with Skies of Arcadia. One of the best rated Dreamcast RPGs, its combat system and exploration mechanics made it fun despite two dimensional, ridiculous Bishy characters. There's a rumour we'll see a sequel in 2008-2009, but there have been rumours of a sequel before, and it's never happened.
Not owning a Dreamcast, I've only played the remake for the Gamecube, and it was one of the best RPGs I've ever played. Legends added in bounties, which I actually wish there were more of. Of course, the graphics and sound were worse (as seems to be the case with all DC ports), but it was still fun as Hell. A SoA for the Wii would be awesome. Name some others, preferably that don't already have sequels (or thousands of iterations). ![]() --John Rogers |
