I want a new 2d metroid

I've played each 2d metroid game like 5 times. Metroid Dread was apparently cancelled. This drought sucks more than Grey Sunshine.

I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE FURTHER EXPLOITS OF SAMUS ARAN

Also use this thread to talk about how awesome metroid is, and which one is your favorite. Super Metroid for me.
