So who'l get into the Hall of Fame first?
I'm sitting here, scoping out WWE tag team dvd, and a thought came to mind...
There are a few great potential "in memory of" Hall of Fame inductions that would draw, and bring out a lot of emotion. The first three people that came to mind were all on the same team. "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith Brian Pillman Owen Hart All three men, to their credit, has made their own contributions to WWE in their own way (or has an unrealistic following). As part of The British Bulldogs, Davey Boy Smith has entertained fans world wide with his international appeal. He was a decent solo wrestler, but really shined as part of a group. Brian Pillman was one of the most controversial personalities in WWE. While he wasn't explosive himself, he was surly the blasting cap for the Attitude Era. If Val Venis, The Undertaker, Greg Valentine, or Steve "Mongo" McNotAHorsemenInTheEyesOfRealWrestlingFans pulled a gun on Steve Austin, no one would have cared. There's just something about the whole loose cannon, or ticking timebomb persona that Pillman just pulled off. .........and then Owen has an unrealitic following. I loved the guy, and thought he was a great wrestler, but not Hall of Fame worthy. Putting him in the Hall of Fame is like losing a lump of coal that could have been a diamond. Sorry, Owen. So, who'll get into the Hall of Fame first? Quote:
