Christian won my royal rumble and is taking on WWE Champion Rey Mysterio and Undertaker in a triple threat match at Wrestlemania, just need to decide on a cool stipulation to add to it.

Assign a non Universe championship to a Universe (Ie assign the Hardcore title to the WWE champion) and you'll be able to set up/defend all Universe titles but the womn's and Divas (there's no non universe title for women), then to set up the title matches just go into the same menu where you'd pock a manager, a box comes up says Defend title? say yes and selct the Universe title, bets thing since it's a title match he only comes out with the one title so it doesn't even ruin entrances

This works on any show, (Raw, SD, PPV, even superstars) and it works in exhibition too

So New Cena is also audio broken btw, same problem as ABA "introducing first..." what a fail THQ. They have so many audio fails, the WCW champion is announced as Introducing first the WCW Championship [Wrestler name] but when you win or retain the title here is your winner and new/still wcw champion, how they got one part right and one part wrong is beyond me. The DLC UT/Cena is especially annoying because theyir names are in the fucking game for shit sakes,

You know if it weren't for the fact that this game gives me the "most up-to-date" roster, mainly thanks to user-contributed models, I would say that the game is fundamentally broken. Is it fun? Yes. Are there glitches that kill gameplay? Yes. Do the Road to Wrestlemania stories suck? Yes, yes they do.

I also hate the default corner-table move. Something about breaking the table with my opponent's toes seems a bit stupid to me. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Also hate how on easy I can pin my opponent after 3-4 moves and win, or how on "hard" my momentum seems to take forever but my opponent can pretty much pin me after only one finisher. If this was released without the brand-name, everyone would pretty much hate it...

Or am I off base?

I loved most of the Roads to WrestleMania modes in this version. Rey Mysterio had a way out of the blue awesome one. I really liked Christians, Jerichos and the one I beat the Undertaker with Dolph Ziggler.

I quickly went through the Cena one because I didn't really want to play as him. I kindof forgot what it was even about it was so forgettable. So, 4 out of 5 good ones.

I was disappointed that NXT wasn't included as a Create-a-Character story mode.

I'm not sure about that, but if you have them beat the champion in a non-title match it bumps them onto the list. I think at around #5.

Just have your guy fight in alot of "finisher ends the match matches" make him a heel and he just attacks people before the match.

He also technically wins the match before the match even begins. I elevated Lance Hoyt to as far as the Intercontinental Championship before having to return the game to Blockbuster.

Assign title to shows? You can't do that, I just ignore the #1 contender matches and run my own system. Hence how I can have the WWE title be the SD title if I want. For a while in fact I ran a Unified World title storyline

You assign titles to wrestlers, so if you want to defend the wwe title as a the Main Event of a Raw show assign your WWE champ a title like the Hardcore title, set up your watch, go the the spot where you;d normally assign a manager it'll come up Defend a title? Select yes, choose the WWE title and voila defneded on Raw.

Masters is on his second reign, which is going a lot like his first. Not even people like Cena and Orton can beat him. It's ridiculous. Though it is kind of cool I'll admit, and the fact that he won it twice and made successful defenses has made Masters seem like a viable main eventer in my universe. And it did refresh the Bryan Punk feud which though epic, was starting to feel a bit stale.

Steamboat cashed in MITB to win the title, thank god, because for three years it has been on either Edge, Taker, or Triple H.

Building towards a wrestlemania wwe championship vs heavyweight championship between Dibiase and Rhodes. Hoping to get them to main event by then.

While I still prefer story design mode, I will admit Universe is better than I first thought. It created a phenomenal feud between Punk and Bryan, and has made me a believer in Chris Masters as a main eventer. I have marked out several times, at some of the things it's done.

I've been having some problems lately with the game.

I was playing "vs Undertaker" on RTWM and I completed it. During it, I unlocked a Druid and the Druid Arena. But, I went to show my brother some of the weird stuff Undertaker does to you, so I jumped into Edge & Christian's time machine and went back from WrestleMania, to week six. I showed him the match then quit RTWM. Since then, my Druid and Druid Arena have disappeared.

I tried playing the Druid Battle Royal again but nothing happened. I'm still missing them.

Online is pissing me off. Every time I try to find a match it says no sessions are available. There can't be 0 sessions available every time I search. The last time I actually found some sessions they'd say "session is no longer available" as soon as the match was about to start.

I completed all the moves in the training arena, got the achievement, but when I mess around there it doesn't show things as checked off. Weird.

Also I taunted next to the fans outside the ring and got a cool animation. Didn't even know about that. I also hit Sabu's triple jump moonsault. Again, I didn't know that was in the game. Pretty cool. The first time I hit it my opponenet reversed it and my head smashed into the chair.

By the end, both guys were gassed but kept kicking out of the others' moves until I finally got the win as Trent with a springboard cross body. Possibly the best match I've had as far as "telling a story" goes on this game.

Just started a new huge stable, I brought back The Nation of Domination, Rock is the leader and on Raw he introduced Shelton Benjamin as the first member (I just had him be Rock's Manager) who distracted the Ref allowing Rock to waffle Cena with a chair bust him open, Rock Bottom, 2 people's elbows 1,2,3.

Next week on Raw in a tag match between The Nation and Evan Bourne and Kofi, Rock and and Shelton (dressed in Nation attire) isolated Bourne and kicked the living crap out of him, when he finally broke free and tried to make the tag to Kofi, Kofi dropped off the apron leaving Bourne alone (I just used my second controller to control Kofi), clothes, rock bottom 2 people's elbows 1,2,3 Kofi joins The Nation.


Next Week after that GM announces a triple threat match (obviously not actually I just did that part in my head) Kofi vs Rey Jr vs a mystery opponent. Kofi comes out in new Nation themed attire comes out then Rey Jr and then bam The Nation of Domination music hits a second time and the mystery opponent turns out to be the newest member of the Nation Ezekiel Jackson (now in Nation attire), the triple threat match is now essentially a handicapped match (again I just controlled both guys) Book of Ezekiel followed by Kofi's new finisher (A massive diving top rope leg drop, it's the one where you grab on of your legs in mid air for some reason, it's cool looking) 1,2,3 Kofi wins.

Finally next week on Raw Shelton vs John Morrison is booked in a NO DQ Match. Before the match Morrison asks his tag team partner R-Truth to come out and watch his back since he's worried with it being NO DQ that other Nation members are gonna be at ringside, R-Truth said he's got Morrison's back (again in my head not acutally any in game stuff I'm not gonna waste time building a story around this lol). We come back from "commercial" and both men are already in the ring. Match starts but no other NOD member is in sight but within a minute or so R-Truth slides in the ring and just waffles Morrison, another 2 on 1 beatdown ensues, paydirt is eventually hit 1,2,3 (I accomplished this by turning entrances off hence my internal explanation that they had their entrances during commercials, assigning R-Truth as Shelton's manager and controlling both so I could target Morrison since they took out being able to focus on your partners a few Smackdowns ago [a feature a bloody well miss btw])

SO now my Nation is complete, they have a titan tron video, which I made by writing NATION on a default CAW's white shirt OF on another and DOMINATION on a third, putting them all in a match together capturing a video of them standing still, and just zooming in on NATION making that stay on screen for 10 to 15 seconds, then doing the same with OF and DOMINATION so that it essentially just flips between the three words with film grain added for effect (it's rudimentary but it works, the zoom is perfect so that it just looks like a white background rather then a shirt)

For theme song I'm using NOD's 2nd theme (which is the same as the first without the Pg-13 rap) and for The Rock I've made my own edit I combined the Do you smell what The Rock is cooking intro to The Rock's theme from Vol 3 (I cut out the Ha part) with NOD's 2nd theme, it works pretty nicely (I blended in the intro to NOD's 2nd in with the drum beat so there's not two Intros, it goes straight from Do you smell into the drum beat.)

Intros work really well too, I use Vladamir Kozlov's which has an arm raising taunt throughout that is very close to the Nation's and for tag I used Rhodes and Dibiase which also has an arm raise taunt, and the trio one I have also has an arm raise taunt so all in all I'm quite pleased with my new Nation.

My plan is to run with this for a while then have Ezekiel Jackson boot The Rock out and rename NOD to just Domination and they'll use Jackson's Domination theme song (cause that song's badass and I think the flow from NOD to Domination will be pretty cool, mirrors what Rock did when he took over, he dropped Dominion from the name whereas here Ezekiel will drop The Nation from the name)

I set up a single's match to determine the number 1 contender for the WWE title... and the actual contender has a tag team partner... Mr. McMahon. Somehow they became quite the tag team. Well anyways this guy comes out on stage holding his arm and then you hear "No Chance" and Vince comes out and substitutes for his hurt partner... I was like mannnnnnn. First time I saw that happen in the Universe... and yeah McMahon wound up winning. So then I had to change up plans... but everything worked out in the end.

But I thought that was pretty cool.

I've done enough simmed Rumbles to know that when selecting participants, the first 3 you pick will ALWAYS be #30, #29, and #28. So I rigged it slightly by putting Morrison, Barrett, and Del Rio in those spots for storyline purposes.

Del Rio won, narrowly beating out Vladimir Kozlov who nearly ruined all of my plans. <_<

But it worked out nicely. Miz and Edge retained their belts at EC. Miz beat Triple H to retain the WWE Title in a simmed match, which shocked me. Then Edge retained over Del Rio only for Christian, fresh off his MITB win, to cash in and win the big gold belt.</font>

I'm in the process of playing an Edge RTWM and one that is based on the false rumor that Sting would be facing the Undertaker at WrestleMania.

I honestly don't enjoy this type of engine anymore. Every year I create lots and lots of CAW's and do a season. This year, WWE Universe mode seems great to do an all CAW season, but I'm sick of the engine! The same controls, the same movements, the same....everything!

I have a feeling WWE All Stars will be fun for a while, like Legends of Wrestlemania, then die out eventually.

I want a brand-freaking-new Smackdown vs Raw this year with a different engine. Make it seem like it's new. How about a different name as well? Smackdown vs. Raw has run its course IMO. Especially just naming it after the year it comes out. I miss the days of "Hey, Here Comes the Pain was Great. So was No Mercy." Nowadays its like "2010 was a good game, that was the one with the roster tweaks and all..." I hope someone understands what I'm saying

That was 2006 I believe. I don't know why they removed that option, it was nice when playing against friends. The best weight detection so far has been No Mercy for N64. I remember I could never lift up Andre the Giant and when I finally did..holy shit.
I am all for the mini-games for weight as long as the small guys have a huge handicap when playing it. Otherwise, we master the stupid mini-game and it's lame again.

And that weight detection needs to carry over to signatures/finishers. Can't have a 200lb guy powerbombing a 500lb guy simply cos it's his finisher.

And it shouldn't just be about lifting. Include weight advantages/disadvanatges for taking a dropkick or being Irish Whipped.

Just got back into this game this week. Made all the draft moves and did stuff like moving Jericho over to Legends and deleting my Johnny Curtis CAW (since they don't seem to be in a hurry to use him). Playing with the new rosters sort of reignited my interest in the game. Anybody else?

<font color=goldenrod>Simmed through about a year of my "funny game" (where Raw is all the current WWE people and SmackDown is celebs, cartoon characters, alumni, etc.) - decided to hold a draft during the week after Backlash across all three shows. Raw vs. SD matches with the winners getting a draft pick which was determined by me closing my eyes and scrolling down the WWE Universe Superstars page, first person I landed on from the losing brand switches shows.

Actually watched the matches while doing this, so I got some funny results. Darren Young ran out and turned on Sin Cara (apparently they had formed a team during the year I simmed), allowing SmackDown's Vance Archer to win the first pick of the draft - which wound up being Evan Bourne.

So later on I did a Bourne vs. Mysterio match and the game had Bourne win in a 90 second squash match. Hilarious.</font>

I have this recurring character that I always make up in the SvR games (since about HCTP or SvR "'05", anyway...), black guy, I usually try to give him some kind of pimp/boxer look and gimmick, and ever since '10 came out I'd given him the Nexus theme as though he were a member of their group.

Long story short, it's not easy finding paint tool logos, especially with 128×128 or 256×256 pixel-by-pixel grids, like how you could find all kinds of logos online for CAWS in WM XIX and DoR 1 & 2 on the GameCube (at least, if you knew where to look you could...). Then somehow I had the seemingly moronic idea to search YT for Paint Tool logos, and wouldn't ya know, there was a guy with a channel dedicated to making all kinds of different logos and stuff for SvR '10 and '11, and even found a pretty cool "demo" of how to draw up the Nexus logo on 256×256:

In order to get the factions set up the way I wanted I switched US Champ Sheamus and IC Champ Ziggler with each other. Because the titles are locked to the shows they still defend them against guys on the opposite brand. Hoping to switch the belts across.

<font color=goldenrod>I've done enough simmed Rumbles in these games to realize that when selecting participants (assuming you are selecting all of them and simply watching the match), the first three that you select will be #30, #29, and #28 respectively. The rest of the entry order seems to be random.

As such, whenever I get to the Rumble in Universe, I set it so that the top three guys I want to win enter at the end. Usually always one of them wins (exception being a Heath Slater CAW winning from #16 in my first year).

So Ryder entered at #30 and won the match one year. Had him win the belt at Mania. He managed to hold onto the belt all the way through the next year's Mania, finally dropping it to Sheamus at Backlash 13 months into his reign. As soon as he lost it, he immediately dropped out of the Top 10 in WWE Title contention.....pretty much the game saying his entire reign was a fluke to begin with. The ranking system sucks.</font>

I agree that the rating system is terrible, however, it was amazing that Ryder held it that long. On a semi-unrelated note, they should bring back the title holders list from HCTP, where they showed up to 200 people in each title slot. That way we can also tell how many time someone was champ since even in HCTP I never made it to 200 champions.

UNIVERSE UPDATE

The Empire lost all of their belts and quickly (and silently) disbanded. I've now put them back together and reclaimed the IC and Tag Titles.

Barrett lost the World title to Cena (who I moved over from Raw) the title has now moved on to Big Show (and then to Edge maybe). Currently builidng Barrett back up and trying to relegate Cena from title contention. On a side note, after a match between Barrett and Cena, The Undertaker made a surprise return to chokesam Barrett. He hasn't been seen since.

In Zack Ryder related news, he lost the You Know It States title and is currently trying to win it back. Thinking of eaming him with Chris Masters in a team called Pecs and Sex Appeal (or something lame like that).

Oddly, having tried to make Christian and Edge into a regular team and get the titles on them (and having the game keep breaking them up) they team together for one random match and are now a legit team and #1 Contenders.

In shocking news, R-Truth ended The Undertakers streak in a Last Man Standing match, I chose to watch it simmed and after R-Truth hit his Suplex Stunner(I'd like to call it Truth-Conviction) Taker didn't get up.

So my cousin has a PS3 lying around that he doesn't use, and I'm thinking of borrowing it, and buying smackdown vs raw 2011, since the Wii version (which is exactly like the ps2 version) lacks any online play, and a lot of the features.

Few questions, if anyone knows
-Can you use custom entrance music for CAWs on the ps3? Is there a limit to how many songs you can put in if so?
-Are you able to download pre-made CAWs from the internets? is there a limit to that? are they editable once downloaded?
-Any other differences between the wii version you know of that warrants me buying it?

I'm pretty sure the answer to the first 2 questions is yes, but I want to make sure before i shell out the cash. Rep for answers of course!

The server for 2011 is so fucked it's unbelievable. God knows how many times I had to disconnect and reconnect, just to download a single image.

Also, for some reason Bourne (Sp?) follows me in Universe mode no matter who I play as. I was happy because I was having a run with the WWE Championship where I didn't have Bourne following me, and the two contenders were Regal and Miz. All of a sudden, Bourne became number one contender and now he's all that I face. :(

To answer 3...the Wii is missing way too much. The physics engine isn't there and neither is the highlight reel. Pretty much look at all the Xbox/Ps3 features and the Wii has the bare bones.
