I want to marry Charlotte and raise her children.
Well, she's already married to Bram. Good luck getting past him.

I actually didn't know that. Do you think they attack police officers together?
SlickyTrickyDamon
10-31-2014, 06:05 AM
Isn't that why they were arrested along with Ric Flair or something?
Mr. Nerfect
10-31-2014, 08:50 AM
I thought they were separate incidents. Oh well.
I think they were. Can't find any mention of either Flair being there when Bram was arrested.
As for this week's show;
Surprised that they're presenting Carmella as a heel when Enzo & Cass are faces.
I see they sit the Legionaires. Not happy with that.

TRIPLE REPLY
I started off 3 of her matches always hating on her, I think her promos were sloppy or her face did something I didn't like, but she goes in the ring and delivers.
As Guru Dave's tag partner I have forwarded evidence pinning Bram to an affair with Rockstar Spud so it won't be long until Dave takes the title
So, who's teaming with Itami? Funaki? Devitt?

Carmella's character does seem fitted to being a heel. I got a bit sad when Emma lost. :(

I hope that Alexa Bliss beats Carmella, leaving Carmella with a vendetta against her. Those two personalities would bounce off each other really well, I think.

She's a wrestler named Leva Bates. She was trained by the Dudley Boyz. Not sure if she's signed to WWE or if she was just in the area.

Finn Fucking Balor
I was wondering about the theme and entrance sans body paint but he came off very impressive. It was a great episode overall actually- that opener especially.
Pretty impressed with Finn. Not a fan of the Double Foot-stomp though, always looks like trash.

:y: Balor's debut. Theme is amazing.
Assuming his stay really is going to be short, wouldn't be surprised if by the Rumble he's on the main roster or after the Mania NXT special as the latest. Wonder if they will keep him teamed with Itami when that does happen.

11-14-2014, 03:11 AM
It seems like they blew-off the Marcus Louis vs. Sylvester LeFort stuff so they could have him blaming the fans. I think he should have just gone after LeFort, and have LeFort pay guys to fight for him. Throw Scott Dawson out there one week, Dash Wilder another. Finally LeFort settles on Bull Dempsey, and Marcus Louis and him brawl before they are pulled apart and a match is signed for the next live special.

Still pissed she beat Emma. Would have rathered her inexperience cost her the match and then she snaps and beats Emma down afterwards, causing the more experienced girl to go looking to school her.
Mr. Nerfect

You could have even have Emma have dropped the second match due to an illegal roll-up, and that loss against a rookie haunt her. So many possibilities to develop both characters.

I'm digging Becky Lynch. Not sure I really "get" the reason she is hanging with Sasha Banks, and not just her own bad-ass girl right now, but she looks amazing, and it makes sense to have her on the bad side, since Charlotte and Bayley are the good girls.
Mr. Nerfect
11-14-2014, 04:04 AM
Also, the girl I talked about in that Carmella/Emma situation really should have been Alexa Bliss. Have Bliss roll-up Carmella, and then Carmella shows her true colors. Bam, yet another Divas feud on the developmental show. And since they are both still learning, a clean win on Carmella's end down the track doesn't make Bliss look terrible.
The characters are so interesting, I think they could actually have run Charlotte, Bayley & Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch & Carmella as a main event on one of their shows.

Because she sounds like has marbles in her mouth when she does a promo.
Also it makes sense in the circle. Sasha Banks was the random face that Summer Rae taught to be the bad ass Boss she became. Now she is teaching a new student.

Give them a bit to get used to the WWE style.

Mr. Nerfect
11-17-2014, 10:15 AM
Riley doesn't have the credibility to be that sort of heel announcer. If Jason Albert was defending a heel's actions, because sometimes you've got gotta get ruthless, it makes sense. He's been around the block, competed at WrestleMania and won championships. Riley had some moments, but he never won a title, and no one is really clamouring to hear his "insight." He should be looking to Byron Saxton as to what to do as a heel announcer, but the thing is, they already have Byron Saxton for that.

I think he'll have a short match. But what I really expect is him to interfere in the main event, helping Sami get the win. He can basically claim that he is Sami's "killer instinct." And it can start the sort of nice guy and crazy psycho/asshole dynamic they used to have.

Kevin Owens is so intriguing at the moment. Seems to legitimately have his moral back up the wall. It's like he's either offended that he's being questioned as to why he did what he did, or he is actually ashamed, but feels like he has to. A real desperate character.
I'm marking out for Blue Pants, not going to lie. She looks better every week too. She's got an endearing quality that they might as well keep around. I loved her getting a name graphic this week.
So Itami and Balor look to be singles competitors now, good timing I'd say. Curtis Axel also looked good as usual. Hopefully he comes back stronger to the main roster.
Mr. Nerfect

I love Axel. I get the criticisms, but in the ring, he is so damn crisp. He's good at talking trash to his opponents, and his facials actually aren't too bad. He's missing the charisma a star needs though, and I hope that finding a niche in NXT helps unlock some.

The WWE might actually have a smash hit on their hands in Blue Pants. You don't need to change a thing about her. Keep her using the ring name "Blue Pants," and have her entrance theme be a recording of Colin Cassady singing The Price is Right theme, if they can get around copyright issues.
In two weeks time, have Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady do their usual shtick and introduce Carmella, who just walks past them and says "Not today." She gets in the ring and talks about how she was humiliated three weeks ago. She hadn't lost a match in NXT until then, and she doesn't plan on losing another. She's challenging that dork in blue pants to a match tonight, because she knows she's here hoping someone will notice her.
Blue Pants makes her way out, and Carmella tells Colin "Don't" as he starts to do the theme again. Carmella tells Enzo to "Go." She makes him stand on the ramp or something. The bell rings and they do their match. This time, instead of a distraction, Blue Pants pulls out a great defensive maneuver and then rolls up Carmella for the three! Another upset! This time Cass does do the theme, and Carmella is pissed. She starts yelling at her "friends," and blames them for the loss. The crowd will no doubt be all over her for that.
A few weeks later they run another match between the two. This time, Enzo & Cass have a box with them. Blue Pants comes out, this time using the recording of Cass singing. The girls do another match, and this time, Blue Pants wins with a new move that becomes her signature. Afterwards, Enzo & Cass cut her theme off and tell them that they have been impressed by Blue Pants, and they bought her a gift. Blue Pants opens it up and...it's a pair of new blue pants! Maybe they have "Certified Blue" in yellow stitching on the leg. Blue Pants is clearly moved, but before she can properly thank Enzo & Cass, Carmella blasts her from behind. Enzo & Cass are disappointed by this, and Carmella completes a heel turn.
They do some backstage segments over the next few weeks, and Cass voices his disgust at Carmella. Being the manipulative heel she now is, Carmella asks Enzo what he thinks, since he always wanted to get with her. Enzo tells her that she's honestly acting like a colossal bitch.
The final match takes place between Carmella and Blue Pants, and Blue Pants wins after Enzo points out Carmella trying to cheat with her feet on the ropes. After the match, Devin Taylor grabs Blue Pants for an interview and asks her just what her name actually is. Blue Pants says "My name is...Blue Pants!" to presumably a big pop from the NXT Galaxy.
Cue Carmella finding her footing as a bitch heel, and Blue Pants becoming a babyface player in the Women's Division. Dah-dah-dah-dah.
How long did that take you to think up? I can actually see that happening too.
Mr. Nerfect
01-13-2015, 06:59 AM
Not very long. I've been thinking about that sort of thing whenever Carmella shows up. I originally thought it should have been Emma after her embarrassing loss, then I figured Alexa Bliss could use it...but now Blue Pants has a potential rivalry with Carmella.

i have no desire to see that threesome broken up, especially since carmella is a relatively new addition. i would like to see them all keep working together, tweaking the dynamic, and bringing it up to the main roster when it's a bit more polished. they'll all have a better chance at getting over if they are still together.

Enzo is over as a face, and turning him heel wouldn't really give him anything more meaningful to do. He's in a good spot at the moment. A heel turn and push for Big Cass is more likely, but he's getting better in the niche of being a big guy who can do some funny stuff, lose matches due to his inexperience, but also remain perpetually over.

Big Cass = Today's Test.
How big of a star do you think Finn Balor is destined to be?
He's a great package; he's in great shape, good looking, good look especially with the paint, great credentials, presence, charisma, seems to be able to talk, and can go in the ring.
BUT he lacks size.
I'd question how important that is nowadays. Given that the likes of Ziggler and Bryan are two of the hottest properties on the main roster right now. I'd also look at who's coming through; Neville and Zayn look like the next two singles guys to go up. With the addition of Itami alongside Balor, NXT is dominated by smaller guys; is the future of WWE smaller guys?
Personally I think he's great, and size shouldn't matter but to a lot if people it does, to Vince it does.
drave
01-15-2015, 01:22 PM
Hopefully he has a solid run at the very least as IC champ. Watched him for a while now and he has "it".
The size thing is what it is. I think there is a need to have guys that are "larger than life" to try to emulate super heroes and/or villains. With the likes of who you mentioned, in addition to Rollins and Ambrose, I would like to think it doesn't matter as much. I tune in to wrestling for wrestling. Sometimes I will try to get into a "story" but they turn out to be shite lately so I gave up on it quite some time ago. I will listen to most promos to get a feel for personality.
Rollins is developing to be one of the best heels WWE has had in a while. Lesnar is the "bad guy champ" but doesn't have the development that Rollins has. Some will argue that Lesnar doesn't need it, but he just seems like a big guy with a title to me.
So long as the people are being entertained, it shouldn't matter. I think the "big guy" thing should be a niche, kinda like a high flyer. Guys like Rollins can do more in the ring than an average "big guy" which leads (or can anyway) to more versatile matches/moves which make things more entertaining.

Balor will be fine. His lack of size is made up for in presence and theatrics.
He milks the persona better than anyone else recently, sans maybe Cody Rhodes and Goldust. He will be just fine in the main roster, if not better. Now if the creative team can back him up is another matter entirely. Look at the Rhodes Bros now :'(
What does "fine" mean? I'm asking how big the guy can be; will he be an Evan Bourne, a Kofi Kingston, a Ziggler, a Bryan, better?

Episode airing January 21, 2015
Announcers: Jason Albert, Rich Brennan, Corey Graves
Before the opening video, William Regal appeared on screen to announce that the next Takeover special would be on Wednesday, February 11th and that we will have a tournament to crown a new number one contender. He also announced that tonight we will see Charlotte vs Sasha Banks, as a result of Sasha's victory in the tag match last week.
Match 1:
- Sami Zayn vs. Tye Dillinger.
This was a non-match.
Zayn immediately jumped Dillinger and tossed him out of the ring. He then grabbed a mic to call out Owens. Instead, William Regal came out. Zayn stated that he refuses to wrestle any matches until he gets a match with Owens. Regal said that he won't reward Owens behavior with a title match, but will make a non-title match of Zayn vs Owens for Takeover.
Match 2:
- NXT #1 Contender's Tournament First Round Match: Curtis Axel vs. Finn Bálor
Bálor won with the double stomp.
Match 3:
- NXT Women's Championship Match: Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks w/ Becky Lynch
Charlotte won by DQ when Lynch attacked her only a few minutes into the bout.
Bayley ran down to make the save. As Bayley was holding the Women's Championship, Charlotte snatched it from her hands. This led to Bayley laying her out with a Belly to Bayley. Regal then came to the stage and announced a Fatal Four Way for the Women's Championship at Takeover between Charlotte, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.
Match 4:
- Vaudevillians vs. Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy
Blake defeated English by pinfall. Before the pin, Blake did a schoolboy on English near the ropes directly into an enziguri from Murphy, who was on the floor.
Match 5:
- NXT #1 Contender's Tournament First Round Match: Tyler Breeze vs. Hideo Itami
Itami won by pinfall following a sequence of the KENTA combo, 3 Roundhouse Kicks, a Corner Hesitation Dropkick and a Running Single Leg Dropkick.
Episode airing January 28, 2015
Announcers: Jason Albert, Tom Phillips, Alex Riley
A video package on Owens was aired. This may have just been for the live crowd, I'm unsure.
Match 1:
- NXT #1 Contender's Tournament First Round Match: Adrian Neville vs. Tyson Kidd
Neville won with the Red Arrow.
After the match, Neville was interviewed in the ring. He was asked how he feels about his second round match being against the winner of Baron Corbin and Bull Dempsey. Neville said he is not afraid of facing either man, as he was the longest NXT champ and vowed to regain it again.
Match 2:
- Charlotte and Bayley vs. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch
No Contest.
Charlotte and Bayley got into a fight after Bayley accidentally hit Charlotte when breaking up a pinfall. Banks and Lynch then attacked both of them, leading to the ref losing control and throwing the match out. A bunch of refs came down to break up the fight.
Match 3:
- NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Lucha Dragons (C) vs. Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy
Blake defeated Kalisto with a reverse jackknife pin. Blake had tagged into the match behind Kalisto's back and grabbed the pin immediately after Kalisto hit the S.D.S. on Murphy.
Match 4:
- NXT #1 Contender's Tournament First Round Match: Bull Dempsey vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin won with the End of Days in a quick match where he was in control for most of it.
Regal held a contract signing for Zayn and Owens' match at Takeover. In order to ensure that the signing didn't end up like every other WWE contract signing, Regal stipulated that the match would be cancelled if either man laid hands on the other. Owens wouldn't speak, so Zayn signed right away and then cut a promo about him and Owens' past. He spoke about how they traveled up and down the roads for 12 years, both teaming up and fighting against each other. Zayn said that in retrospect, he should have seen it coming. However, all the battles they went through was with the end of goal of "making it here". So, he never expected Owens to betray him on the night when both of them "finally made it". Owens refused to sign the contract because it was non-title. Regal reiterated that he would not reward Owens with a title shot, but Zayn and the crowd convinced him to make the change. After signing, Kevin threw the pen in Zayn's face to taunt him. Owens walked away as Regal stopped Zayn from attacking him.

Just caught up with four weeks of NXT. Good stuff.
Finn Balor continues to win me over. Liked his match with Tyson. Still really hate the double-stomp move in general, though, no mater who is using it.
Not a fan of Hideo Itami yet, though.... dunno... supposed to have "devastating" kicks and whatnot, but there are like a dozen guys who do more impressive kicks than him. He also hasn't shown me a ton of charisma. I dunno. All I think when he is out there is "Tajiri was way better than this".

Problem with Itami is that his war chest of moves got gutted badly in the WWE either because other guys use them (ex. GTS, Knee that beat John Cena, Kimura Lock, etc), nobody wants to take them (ex. most of his kick types), or banned as regular moves (ex. Crossface). Even his double stomp was given to Balor for finisher status (Balor did the same move in New Japan though).
Combine that with him struggling getting used to the WWE is why he's very likely staying in NXT a lot longer than expected.

I think part of the problem with Hideo Itami is Finn Balor. Hideo came in with all this hype, and then he brings in backup--which at least in NXT, has about 1000x time the presence and charisma he does. That blew up a lot of his momentum.
When Hideo debuted initially, he was treated like a star. As soon as he was paired up with Balor, Balor has such a "big fucking deal" factor, that Hideo seemed like less of a star in comparison.
Now that they've separated again, I think it'll get better. He does definitely have a problem like Smelly Meatball said with his move set. A lot of his stuff is off the table and it's a different style. That's going to take some time to get used to.
Neither man has had a lot of opponents in singles matches, but Balor's definitely gotten the better draw for their type of style in a couple of matches with Tyson Kidd. Hideo had Justin Gabriel early on, but that was only after a couple of weeks, which means basically no time for an adjustment yet.
I think of the two, Finn Balor is going to make it further, but Hideo can go a long way too, he just had the misfortune of debuting alongside the wrong guy at the wrong time.
Dark One hitting the nail on the head there when it comes to the unfavourable Itami/Balor comparison.
SlickyTrickyDamon
01-17-2015, 06:06 PM
It's because Balor can speak clearly in English along with the other things that make him a great superstar. The war paint thing is the icing on the cake. He's ready to jump to the WWE roster. He should go as soon as possible so he can be separated from Itami and the comparison between them can close.
It can become better if Itami becomes the guy that WWE stars visit to see if they can beat. It's already started with Curtis Axel. Axel can be considered a big deal opponent by being a former tag team and IC Champion. Not sure if that's what they are doing brining in Axel or if its just to give Axel some time to develop again. Itami also has to work on developing his English or maybe he can get a face manager to be a talking piece for the time being.
Hideo Itami can win back ownership of his moves by simply doing them once instead of constantly teasing them. The cross-face technically isn't banned as Triple H has done it and others before him.

Pretty sure Itama's "cross face" is actually the YES Lock. So he can't do it.
Give him the KENTA combo and GTS. Just don't stick him with that lame ass spin kick to a kneeling opponent. It looks awful.
Give him back the GTS and the rough kicks, there are plenty of guys who can take it and give it back too while he figures out a good middle ground between too hard and too soft for the main roster.

He's spent over ten years laying his kicks in. This among others is why he's down in NXT before going to the main roster. He'd be another Sin Cara if he didn't come to NXT first.

I would let Itami use the GTS and the Busaiku Knee. The NXT crowd pops for it whenever he teases it. Why not have commentary put him over as the innovators of each? Link him in people's minds as almost an inspiration to guys that have already "made it."
Finn Balor has got that "Superstar" vibe and his "special match" intros give hima "big deal" vibe. As weird as this sounds, I could see him as a shock winner of the 2016 Royal Rumble. Quick pushes have happened in the past, and NXT gives the WWE a chance to view what will work and what will not (although they don't often know how to adapt guys). Could see Cena vs. Balor as a weird sort of main event at WrestleMania, surrounded by other huge matches -- like (use your imagination), Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar, if the "timing" feels right for Austin. Dunno. Could definitely see Balor in a big spot at that PPV, anyway.

I wouldn't repackage Bull just yet. I'd perhaps consider a face turn, since his sacrifice at the Alter of Corbin has capped his credibility as a heel monster at this point in time. Have CJ Parker come out shortly after Rival and talk about how everyone is raving about this and that (NXT storyline related), but no one is talking about his message, which is larger than NXT and even the WWE. He gives an open challenge to anyone in the back, and Bull answers. People would be more than happy to see Bull flatten Parker.
Then consider a program between Dempsey and Tyler Breeze. I have a feeling that a face turn might be coming for Tyler, so before you pull the trigger with that, have him remark that face Bull is an "uggo," leading to a few matches between them.

Tyson Kidd/Neville with another great match. I know Kidd is the bad guy, but I really want him to finally get a win over the dude.... starting to feel bad for him every time he tries.
Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy winning the titles would have been a shocker had it not been spoiled for me. I will say that they have impressed me as a team in their past matches. Current plan by the WWE/Triple H for NXT.
PWInsider reports that as of this morning, neither of the two have signed deals with WWE. Apparently they were used as part of a move being made to bring established names into NXT to work with the younger talents.
In regards to the two guys returning from this month's spoilers, it was rumored at least one of them was also going to apply as a coach for NXT.
Bryan Kendrick was the one rumored to be applying. Nobody knows if Rhino is also applying or was just asked to show up for this month's tapings.

Neville vs Owens this week was good.
Another round of tapings were done yesterday to cover up to mid-April since the WWE is going to be too busy to do them normally next month. Current plans are for at least one live regular show during Mania weekend.

Spoiler on Neville's status:
Baring the live show, this week very likely could have been Neville's last for NXT since he doesn't show up at all within the two sets of tapings.
Spoiler on Balor's status:
Some speculation going around that the final taped episode (April 15) could also end up as Balor's last for NXT.

I've gone from being amazed that NXT shows have consistently been better than any other show in any given week, to disappointed, to now just kind of disgusted. I get that it's not necessarily going to appeal to every taste, but it's not like it's just the in ring product that's better.
I actually kind of wonder how it would be received by the more casual fan-base if there was another Icelandic volcano sort of situation and the crews were stranded overseas and they just put together an impromptu three hour NXT show instead.

Solomon Crowe was not what I was expecting. I was expecting him to come off more...sleek. You know, given the hacker gimmick and all. Still, I'm excited to see him pound CJ Parker. I don't really feel sorry for him. He reminds me of The Miz -- he's able to talk, he looks enough the part, and he's not atrocious in the ring -- but he's just not compelling. I feel his current role is perfect for him until he finds some sort of traction.
I actually think he's main roster ready, in the sense that if he did his current shtick on the main shows, he'd be good enough. Throwing out a random idea for him though -- how about a team with Brad Maddox as some sort of heel millenials?
Mr. Nerfect
02-19-2015, 08:47 PM
Pretty pumped for Blake & Murphy vs. Enzo & Cass. Since she gets good heat, I'm wondering if Carmella turns on Enzo & Cass and does join Blake & Murphy. It'd give them something over their face challengers, and could make their program quite the personal one. In the meantime, debut Shoot Nation and put together that team of Parker & Maddox.

Report: Samoa Joe Expected To Sign With WWE

Source: The Wrestling Observer
According to sources, Samoa Joe is expected to sign with WWE soon. The deal is not finalized, but both sides are working on an agreement.
Triple H is reportedly a big fan of Joe, and the feeling is that he is the one pushing for the deal. If Joe winds up signing with WWE, he’ll report to Orlando, FL and be featured as a main Superstar on the NXT brand.

NXT House Show for some strange reason decided to include a random Big Show vs Ryback match.
According to reports this is what got chanted during said match:
CM Punk chants during Ryback-Show quickly get drowned out by NXT chants
"We Want Blue Pants"
"Please Retire", "We Want Divas" and "Same Old" Chants
Big Show was so great. "Please retire" chants. Big Show says "ten more years in contract." Crowd starts chanting "ten more years!

What Would Kevin Do?

Some random things and thoughts about the Columbus NXT show. Does not include every match... May contain spoilers if you intend on going to the Cleveland show...
The show opened with HHH coming out to a huge response and a "Thank you Hunter" chant, at which point he thanked the crowd.
Hideo and Finn were really over. Also both of their entrances are badass live. Hideo's music is pretty intense live, and everything about Balor is amazing. GTS tease made the crowd pop hard. Vaudevillians were not as over as they are in FLorida.
The entire crowd knew Enzo's speech.
Tyson Kidd made an appearance and fought Baron Corbin. Kidd was way over, Corbin not so much. The best chants of the night were for Kidd, and included "Cats!" and, I shit you not, "Meow Meow Meow."
The crowd shit all over the Big Show Ryback match. Big Show, however, being amazing, responded to the "Please retire" chant by informing the crowd he had "ten more years" on his guaranteed contract. This resulted in several "ten more years" chants during the match. Big Show played it up and kept motioning it to the crowd. Ryback won with the shellshock and was clearly angry at the crowd afterwards, and basically told us to fuck off. Big Show got on the mic, "winded" and coughed out "ten more years."
Charlotte vs Bailey was really good, and the crowd was super into it. Bailey won with Natural Selection out of the corner. Chants included "Diva's suck", and "Give them a Raise." Ric FLair was there to introduce his daughter. Bailey gave him a high five, and did a little strut. Everyone hugged after the match.
Kallisto's etrance included him jumping off the stage, onto a trampoline, and then flipping over the ropes. It was badass. Tyler Breeze was mega over.
Alex Riley may be on the juice. Kevin Owens annihilated him.
Sami Zayn sadly did not wrestle, but he cut an amazing promo. He got choked up in the beginning when the crowd drowned him out with "Ole" chants. Really passionate promo about NXT is the future and they have turned WWE's developmental where talent would go to "Drown in purgatory" to the most relevant wrestling in America today. At one point the crowd chanted "Better than Raw" and Sami jokingly looked worried and said "Come on guys, don't get me in trouble."
Main event was Neville vs Cesaro, and holy shit was it awesome. Spots include a UFO tease, Cesaro back dropping Neville over the raise barricade on the outside, only for Neville to land on his feet, bust out a moonsault off of it, only to get caught and dropped throat first over the barricade, multiple germans by Cesaro, and his sick boston crab, and Cesaro walking the top rope before attempting a top rope headbutt. There was also a swiss death counter into a hurricurrana for a false finish.
The end came when Neville went for a top rope Frankenstiener and Cesaro caught him while still sitting on the top rope. Cesaro teased a top rope Ricola bomb, only to get reversed again with a top rope Rana. NEville went for the Red Arrow, but Cesaro crotched him, nailed two hard European uppercuts while Neville was crotched, so he slumped forward, nailed another hard one to the back of his head while he was upside down, and finished him with the neutralizer. It was a fucking sprint, and it was badass.
So anyway, if Columbus is any example, NXT is definitely viable on the road. Everyone promised to "see us again real soon", so I'm guessing it will not be long before they travel for tapings.
Mr. Nerfect
03-06-2015, 08:33 PM
That show sounds amazing. I feel like if it were up to Triple H, Cesaro would be used so much better than he is now. He seemed to understand Cesaro's importance to NXT, and he put him over Neville, who has been one of the most strongly booked talents in the world, even though Cesaro is a heel.
I find it odd that Riley was basically squashed by the sounds of things. It seems like they are trying to make a deal out of him on NXT television.
Mr. Nerfect
03-07-2015, 10:27 PM
Apparently the Neville vs. Cesaro match is being taped for an NXT DVD release. NXT seems legitimately more successful than TNA and ROH at this point.
I'm hoping they bring Samoa Joe in (with his name intact) to finally be the guy to dethrone Owens somewhere down the line.

That just feels right to me. Owens beats Finn Balor, Alex Riley and Sami Zayn, only for Joe to make his way out and just stare-down Owens. Joe then gets to be the guy that takes the title off Owens.

That makes sense, but since Owens kinda made a big deal about becoming champion exactly 2 months after his debut (he at least mentioned it), Joe needs to do it in exactly ONE month, to prove he was THAT much better and have "something" over Owens, as well as his championship....
