<font color=goldenrod>Some spoilers from the most recent set of NXT tapings:

Supposedly Crowe appears in an Adam Rose vignette as a DJ. Kalisto is also there doing a light show. Hopefully those were just one-offs as it'd be a shame to see them saddled with a comedy act especially since the Crowe gimmick looked like it could have been interesting. We'll see.

Adam Rose debuted later on in the tapings, btw. So I'd guess that's the end of the Leo Kruger character unless they have him working both gimmicks and expect the NXT crowd to NOT exploit it. Can't imagine the guy feels too good, been in development nearly 4 full years, closing in on 35 years of age, seemed primed to make his main roster debut with a cool gimmick. And instead they saddle him with a comedy gimmick. Guess it'll help him get to the main roster and fit right in with most of the undercard comedy guys, but Kruger actually had potential to be in some meaningful programs.

I've got to be honest, I was never a big supporter of Leo Kruger's. It's not that he was bad or anything, he was just...there. His ring work was solid, his mic work was appropriately creepy. I thought the character came off well, but I just didn't really invest too much in it.

Adam Rose might actually get Kruger over far more than the serious character did. Sure, it will be a bit jarring to see Kruger playing a different character, but those issues will probably be moot once Rose joins the main roster. Would love to see Rose feud with 3MB.

Really don't get all the Graves hate. He's on the smaller side, but he is a complete natural. He's got a presence about him that just screams "star." He also works a believable style for his size. It's just about finding the right place to plug him into as a far as a main roster spot goes.

The Divas storylines in NXT are so good. I now not only care about Paige vs. Emma (which actually has some mad anticipation behind it due to the unavoidable delays), but I care about Natalya mentoring Bayley and Alicia Fox being abandoned by the Beautiful Fierce Females (I do think they could use a new name though). They've still got Becky Lynch and Raquel Diaz waiting in the ranks too.

Sami Zayn and Cesaro's segment was fucking sweet. Triple H played his part perfectly in it. Triple H's NXT appearances have been thoroughly enjoyable. Given that NXT Arrival airs live two nights after Elimination Chamber, I could see Cesaro selling some injuries and giving Zayn a real shot at winning (something that would seem fitting for the storyline anyway). After the match, I would not be opposed to seeing a hug of respect between the two... followed by an attack from behind by Cesaro. Heat! I'm also hoping for the UFO to make its WWE debut in that match.

The winner of Zayn/Cesaro seems like the obvious choice to be next in line for a shot at the NXT Championship. Given that Zayn seems like the perfect guy to eventually take the NXT Title off Bo Dallas, I'm actually pulling for the Bo-dacious One to retain at NXT Arrival. Adrian Neville can do something insanely crazy that costs him the match and allows Bo to celebrate strong at the end of the show.

Paige vs. Emma is going to be awesome.

That pic looks almost like it came from someone's copy of WWE2k16. Improved graphics, a more diverse crowd, but the pinkie promise just looks... like a bad fanfic.

The pinky promise was actually a really great moment. Sami Zayn was passionately pleading for one moe match with Cesaro, who was arrogantly asking Zayn how many times he needs to beat him before this ends. Zayn said that it would only be once more. Then he has Zayn's word that Cesaro would be done with him. The crowd then started chanting "Pinky promise!" to try and be funny, I guess, to which Zayn did actually present his pinky and Cesaro then played along. It came off like a really organic thing.

The Zayn/Cesaro segment was pretty great. Zayn is a good promo. Antonio less so, but he knows how to get the heat.

Also, I am looking forward to CJ Parker as an Eco-Snob heel. Could be good. Possibly funny. Though he shouldn't have mentioned driving any sort of car at all, unless it was electric.

CJ Parker is like X-Pac...I dislike him for all the wrong reasons.. Its more the way he moves than anything.. and I don't mean the over the top dancing and stuff.. I mean little things like his daft walk and stupid finisher.

I have three gripes with this weeks show...

#1 The Ascensions match lasted around 2 minutes... Summer Rae's match with Emma lasted a good 6-7. (Get these bints off my monitor... they can't do the rasslin')

#2 No sign of Corey Graves

#3 This for me is the biggest issue... Final segment between Adrian Neville and Bo Dallas... Bo looks convincing, like He's a cocky arrogant champ.. He's playing the part so well... Then He takes off his jacket and hangs it gently over the top rope.... Then removes The Championship belt that the whole feud is revolving around and tosses it on the floor less than a minute later...

Come On you shit stains... You are better than that.

On a brighter note. Tyler Breezes promo was great, and the checking his hair in his phone during his match was awesome..

Sami/Cesaro segment came off really well, actually can't wait to see that match.

I'm going to be honest, I've lost interest in The Ascension. Maybe if they had some competition or storylines? I dunno. I loved Viktor when he tore it up with Seth Rollins, but he actually seems to get lost in the ring sometimes. Konnor is like they took a really solid 7'0 guy...and then shrunk him down. There's absolutely nothing offensive about him at all, but I just can't get find myself getting excited about him. His wife is so hot though, so he's probably the best guy ever.

I found myself thinking the other day that after their match at NXT Arrival, as a move that's "Best for Business," Cesaro and Sami Zayn being put into an NXT tag team would make for fairly fun television. Cesaro & Zayn as NXT Tag Team Champions would be infinitely more interesting than what we have at the moment. Alternatively having Mason Ryan & Mojo Rawley team up as the only faces on the roster that even stand a chance against the brute force of The Ascension could lead to a few interesting clashes. Random thought: I also want to see JTG & Jason Jordan form a tag team. JTG is so charismatic on the mic and Jordan seems to be a great athlete. Mesh them together.

Emma is tremendous, but I worry that the WWE doesn't get what makes her character tremendous, and that it is going to be reduced to gimmick on the main roster, and when it doesn't immediately have the same effect as in NXT, they will abandon her. Luckily, she seems to be getting pretty over.

* The New Age Outlaws defeated Tye Dillinger and Jason Jordan in what may have been a dark match.

Episode 1:

* The show kicks of with new NXT Champion Adrian Neville. He comes out to a huge pop and talks about winning the title from Bo Dallas at Arrival. Bo interrupted and will be invoking his rematch clause soon.

* Adrian Neville defeated Camacho.

* Charlotte defeated Emma by faking a leg injury.

* Corey Graves vs. Yoshi Tatsu never happened as Graves cut a promo on never getting his proper chance. Graves attacked Tatsu but Sami Zayn made the save. Graves and Zayn have a staredown. Graves came out with a new theme song.

* Solomon Crowe defeated Sylvester Lefort. This was Crowe’s TV debut and he was over big time.

* Sami Zayn defeated Corey Graves.

Episode 2:

* Paige defeated Sasha Banks with the Scorpion Crosslock. After the match, Sasha and Charlotte attacked Paige until Natalya made the save.

* The Ascension defeated two unknown wrestlers in a squash.

* Mason Ryan squashed Wesley Blake. Fans chanted “better than Batista” at Ryan.

* Alexander Rusev defeated Xavier Woods after Tyler Breeze attacked Woods before the match.

* Bo Dallas defeated Colin Cassady. Fans chanted “worse than Batista” at Bo.

Episode 3:

* Mojo Rawley defeated Bull Dempsey.

* Tyler Breeze vs. Sami Zayn never started as Corey Graves attacked Sami during his entrance and beat him down. Referees finally helped Zayn to his feet and he limped to the back.

* Adam Rose defeated Camacho. Fans are starting to get behind Rose, the former Leo Kruger.

* Bayley defeated Sasha Banks.

Episode 4:

* Sheamus vs. Aiden English is up first. They both sang before the match. Apparently Sheamus put on quite the performance. Sheamus got the win in what was called the match of the night.

* Mojo Rawley beat CJ Parker in an Arrival rematch.

* Tyler Breeze defeated Xavier Woods.

* They aired a NXT merchandise promo with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. Everyone loves Enzo.

* Corey Graves defeated Yoshi Tatsu.

* Natalya with Bret Hart defeated Charlotte with Sasha Banks, by DQ when Sasha interfered. For some reason a large part of the crowd left after this match.

* NXT Champion Adrian Neville retained over Bo Dallas.

I'm kind of into the idea of Adam Rose. Leo Kruger wasn't really going to go too far for him. Graves vs. Zayn seems like the next big feud in NXT. Still want to see Zayn & Cesaro become the NXT Tag Team Champions. Put Graves against Neville after Neville's done with Bo and Graves knocks off Zayn.

Just watched NXT instead of the second hour of Smackdown.

I loved Leo Kruger, but that Adam Rose entrance alone made me (and the fans) forget about him. I look forward to some manner of interaction/feud with either Tyler Breeze or Aiden English.

Also, I actually liked Corey Graves tonight. Best showing I have seen from him.

While I'm in here, I might as well say that I think Corey Graves has potential. The "vibe" he gives off is really good. His promo work has had moments of great and moments of "blah" however. His ring work doesn't exactly get me too hyped up.

Have Adam Rose and Tyler Breeze capture the NXT Tag Team Championship. Think about the potential that team has.

Rose would be the happy-go-lucky party animal, with Breeze remaining a bit more solitary and acting "too cool" for that whole scene. At WrestleMania, Adam Rose would do his usual antics, but then The Ascension would get Breeze isolated. Eventually, a strike to the face leads to Breeze snapping, and he makes a babyface comeback, tagging in Rose who also hits some signature offense. Rose finds himself beaten down too, but then Rose tags in Breeze who flies around and does some serious damage. Breeze lays out Viktor with a Beauty Shot, but Rose has tagged himself in and hits a Frog Splash or something for the pin. Rose and Breeze are both initially ecstatic, but when Rose leaves with his party, Breeze opts instead to pick up his phone and check himself out in his reflection.

I'm still for an Adam Rose/Tyler Breeze tag team. I think that would be great fun. Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger seemed alright as a team. They've got this "American models" look about them that works. I would like to see them with a manager or something though. Even if it were a just a face Diva without much else going on. Or maybe Teddy Long. Can't see them working as NXT Tag Champs just yet, but they'll probably be given the belts soon, since The Ascension has held them forever.

Think that was the big reason he got hired. Already knows how to speak English, wears a variety of masks, and doesn't have the negative baggage Sin Cara had.

WWE also realized they bungled it with Sin Cara by giving Kalisto all the time needed to develop on NXT.

I've been watching NXT without the use of spoilers and have been enjoying the crap out of it. Strongly recommend to people.

Tyson Kidd has found a niche in NXT. His main roster return was met with very little fanfare, but the NXT crowd is just smart enough to get how good this guy is. Kidd needs to work on his promo ability so that he can sell himself to larger audiences, but by putting on a fantastic body of work in NXT, it gives the WWE something to promote, instead of just saying "This guy is really, really good -- we promise." I marked out for Zayn, Kidd & Breeze making it to the end of that Battle Royal. I'm looking forward to the Triple Threat. Zayn is probably my favorite in there, but I'd love to see Neville mix it up with all three.

Alexa Bliss impressed me enough. She seems like a natural heel. I get she's doing the cute thing, but it comes off as kind of arrogant. She worked pretty well in the ring, and I could see her being a decent replacement for Emma if she gets over. But I could also see her getting a sour attitude at some point and being a good replacement for Charlotte when they choose to call her up to the main roster.
