14 straight 50+ win seasons for the San Antonio Spurs. They are the definition of consistency.
I hope they win it all this year.

Pat Riley said the Heats current win streak is more difficult than the Lakers 33 because the current state of the NBA. What a crock of shit.
Back then every team was competitive with talent. Today's NBA you literally have 3 of the top 20 players playing on the same team and all other teams consisting of one upper talent and mediocre players at best.

This is a crock of shit. That 33 game streak was back when half of the best talent in the world was playing in the ABA. There were only 17 teams and Wilt was being guarded by people named Jumpy Polaski. The amount of scrutiny was nowhere near as intense as it is now, there is more pressure than ever heaped on the capable shoulders of Lebron, Wade and Bosh. The worst player in the NBA is lightyears better now than the worst player in the NBA was back then.

Lamar Odom might be getting into some serious legal trouble soon after ESPN's OTL did a report involving athletic charities and found out his was one of the worst offenders.
In 2004, Odom founded Cathy's Kids, named after his mother who the NBA forward says died from cancer. But eight years of tax records reveal that Cathy's Kids never gave any grant money to cancer-related causes and that the charity primarily existed to finance two elite youth basketball travel teams. Of the $2.2 million raised by the charity, at least 60 percent -- $1.3 million -- went to those AAU teams.
Odom's excuse when it came to all the spending on non-charitable stuff was to say it was his "own money." The IRS revoked his charity's tax exemption last year but haven't done any criminal investigations yet.

Fuck you, you fucking douchebag. How can anyone make light of this situation. Kobe Bryant's career may be over. Laker fan or not, this is a sad day for all basketball fans. Seeing his interview with tears in his eyes, he knows how bad this is.
This is such BS! All the training and sacrifice just flew out the window with one step that I've done millions of times! The frustration is unbearable. The anger is rage. Why the hell did this happen ?!? Makes no damn sense. Now I'm supposed to come back from this and be the same player Or better at 35?!? How in the world am I supposed to do that??
I have NO CLUE. Do I have the consistent will to overcome this thing? Maybe I should break out the rocking chair and reminisce on the career that was. Maybe this is how my book ends.
Maybe Father Time has defeated me...Then again maybe not! It's 3:30am, my foot feels like dead weight, my head is spinning from the pain meds and I'm wide awake. Forgive my Venting but what's the purpose of social media if I won't bring it to you Real No Image?? Feels good to vent, let it out. To feel as if THIS is the WORST thing EVER! Because After ALL the venting, a real perspective sets in. There are far greater issues/challenges in the world then a torn achilles. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, find the silver lining and get to work with the same belief, same drive and same conviction as ever.
One day, the beginning of a new career journey will commence. Today is NOT that day.
"If you see me in a fight with a bear, prey for the bear". Ive always loved that quote. Thats "mamba mentality" we don't quit, we don't cower, we don't run. We endure and conquer.
I know it's a long post but I'm Facebook Venting LOL. Maybe now I can actually get some sleep and be excited for surgery tomorrow. First step of a new challenge.
Guess I will be Coach Vino the rest of this season. I have faith in my teammates. They will come thru.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. Much Love Always.

Cavs join the growing list of teams trying to court Phil Jackson in becoming their new coach or part of management. Mike Brown would be "Plan B" if Jackson rejected the Cavs offer
The Cavs, who fired coach Byron Scott last Thursday, have been in touch with Jackson to gauge his interest in returning to coaching and in their open position. Last week, ESPN reported Jackson is increasingly interested in a return to the NBA next season, preferably in a management capacity, after two years away from the game
Jackson is currently considering potential options, sources said. There's a belief in coaching circles that the Brooklyn Nets and possibly the Sacramento Kings -- if they relocate to Seattle -- will be teams that appeal to Jackson more than the Cavs.
The Nets reached out to Jackson before even firing coach Avery Johnson last fall and are expected to check his interest again following the season. The Seattle-based group attempting to purchase and relocate the Kings, led by investor Chris Hansen, is interested in bringing Jackson on board in an executive role if it wins approval for the deal, sources said.
Jackson is believed to be looking for a similar situation as Pat Riley has with the Miami Heat -- oversee personnel moves and mentor a head coach. To land and keep Riley, the Heat gave him a deal that included an ownership stake in the franchise.
