I'm on Raw/year 5 and the tune up shit doesn't get any better, I'd have bumped it by now if I didn't want all the unlockables.

Nearing the end of year 2 of MyCareer, close to being called up to Smackdown. Still, I'm bored to tears of the dark match / tune-up match shit every month.

I only have maybe 1 hour a night to game at the moment and I'm 4 hours into this mode, but thinking of dropping it and just enjoying Universe mode instead.

I just finished this with a WWE title win at Mania, think my playtime is about 18 hours and hundreds of warm up matches. There were a few nice stories on RAW, like a Taker match and my Rumble build up, but it is so bare bones, I was relieved when it ended. I just did it to unlock things.

Have started the showcase now and am enjoying it a lit more, but Universe seems great on videos I have watched, with a lot more control over stories and what happens in them

I am just looking to unlock all the active wrestlers before I start it

Yea, that is a downfall of the career mode. I was NXT champ and that is the only belt I have even had a shot at. Other than that, a Heisenberg heel turn story that lasted 3 shows and "HHH being impressed" once in a while, nothing happens.

Biggest room for improvement in the title I think.

Yeah, it has massive potential, if it becomes an open thing with constant storylines and choices and no cut off point, then it will be great. This version though felt "empty". There just wasn't enough in it and it was a chore in the end.

Playing through showcase just to unlock things (don't have an internet connection at the moment). HHH vc HBK is one of my all time favs so enjoying reliving it, but I agree, it has been done to death in recent years. 6 man tags are almost impossible to win in this. AI come steaming in, but no effort from your side to stop them, and you can't tap the pad to change in showcase, it's a nightmare.

Universe is what I em excited about starting, really enjoy getting it up and running and just playing through it whenever I have time.

On Year 6 now and getting a bit bored, need more storylines or title shots. Last story I had was at the Rumble against the douche who wouldn't release the Boston Crab waaaaay back at the beginning when you go for the try out. It was a pretty shit story, he said something on social media and jumped me after a match, I then jumped him after a match and then had nothing for two weeks before a lame match at the PPV.

Had Vickie come up to me and said the Authority wants more variety in matches on Raw, so made my next four matches cage matches......

Got a one off battle royal and Chamber match waaaaaay back when too, so far back I didn't have any of the skills for those unlocked.

Giving the 360 version a rent right now and looks like Universe is still a hot mess...my CAW had his first PPV @ Payback and inexplicably had the match screen come up with Over the Limit graphic. Next night on RAW during my match one of the announcers said last night's PPV was OTL. Also in all the title matches I've had where I enter second due to being champion, stupid ring announcer announces me as tge challenger before proceeding to announce that I'm also the champ.

There was several other weird happenings but not gonna bore you with details.

2K showcase was pretty "MEH"...I did like the HBK v. HHH one slightly better. My only gripes are that during a cutscene referring to the WM XX triple threat match, even after almost 8 years it's still seemingly taboo to utter the name of Chris Benoit. Also, minor gripe here, but kinda disappointed that '02-'04 Batista wasn't an unlockable character despite Kane '02, retro Nash and '04 Orton being unlocks.

There will always be a few minor things, but Universe is moving in the right direction. The fact that it is so much easier to put people in stories now is a big bonus, although I would love to not have to touch anything. Am trying, but had Titus O'Neil laying out Brock on the first show, so have made some changes

Have divided the roster into 4 groups, Main Eventers, Upper Carders, Mid Carders and Jobbers

Main Eventers and Upper Carders on Raw, Mid Carders and Jobbers on Smackdown

IC title on both shows so you get all the Upper and Mid carders in feuds for the IC (with Upper carders still showing up on Smackdown for IC feuds)

Changed the rosters like this just before Payback and has thrown up some good feuds automatically, so maybe this is the way forward.

Raw got Rusev vs Big Show, Ryback vs Ziggler for the IC and Brock vs Orton for the WWE title.

Smackdown got Miz/Mizdow vs New Day tag feud, Jack Swagger vs Adrian Neville for the US title (which is the main title for SD) and a main event tag feud for the tage titles between The Brotherhood and The Usos.

6 very playable feuds so far, just make sure you edit each superstar for what rankings list they appear in, unless you fancy a Jimmy Uso IC title challenge.

Won the Rumble and title match at Mania.

Had my retirement match against OXENRIDER which I damn near lost! Went for my signature, it was countered and resulted in Heisenberg hitting his signature and setting me up for a RKO. I was super lucky and managed to hit the counter in the tiny window, giving him a drop toehold that planted his face in the bottom turnbuckle.

Finish saw a clothesline from Hell once Ox got up, finished with a powerbomb/brainbuster hybrid.

Also, the Paige model is shite. Her face looks like she could be either one of the Bella twins from the game, or AJ even. Also not paying for the shit WcW pack when there will be CAW's that are better :|

I have "wires crossed" in title matches, with guys retaining acting like they have won and are new champions, and guys wining the build acting like they are retaining.

Also HATE that finishers and signiture moves don't show up at all sometimes depending on the situation. Can also take an eternity to perform ground grapples, but that isn't as serious.

The finisher/signiture thing can ruin close matches because you reverse a finisher maybe, are desperate to hit a move, and for some reason you can't grapple or hit a finisher, and your opponent blasts you with a move and takes control again. Have lost a few matches that I had done well to get back into because it wouldn't let me hit a move at the right time, but my opponent could no problem.

The mannerisms and movements (except for Summer Rae's weird walk animation) are spot on.

Also, my "argument" (which is actually just my opinion) still stands. In addition, please show me they are CAW's with definitive proof - I digress.

There is such a HUGE discrepancy between a superstar like Orton and the recently released DDP. I also don't find the excuse of "but he wasn't scanned" acceptable when previous generations of wrestling games have done a way better job of character modeling than they have. The same stands for the divas. It feels as though they were only concerned with a few big names were lazy with everyone else or had to meet deadlines. Either way, a lot of character models SUCK, which is my only point.

Still a great game and I am thoroughly enjoying it, but it could be MUCH better.

Definitely seems to be issues with ground grapple signatures/finishers than any other. The WWE games have always been plagued with collision issues, which this probably falls under.

I was slightly annoyed at the positioning for the People's Elbow vs. a charged Rock Bottom. Had to hit the Elbow in a match against Punk and it would keep doing the god damn Rock Bottom despite the icon showing "finisher" and not "charged finisher" :rant:

Disturbed - on the dark/tune-up match, I always took the tune-up to give more social media followers. The more popular you get, the bigger PPV events you get to choose from and the "better" show "RAW" you get to - in my experience anyway.

Joined the Authority, then got 6-7 weeks of we've nothing for you, got an angle with Future Hall of Famer vs NXT newbie featuring JUSTICE, followed by 6 weeks of nothing for you, got a angle with JUSTICE where we're now full of respect and gonna have a match after a tv feud with RybAxel again followed by nothing for you for months, got the chance to have a PPV match with Cena; said he was beneath me so I got a match with Ziggler as the pre main event and got labelled as a mid carder....fuck me this is like it was booked by the WWE itself.

Honestly, the game feels empty, half-finished and extremely repetitive. Disapponted in the end because I usually play these games to death. As it is, got GTA for Christmas and won't be going back to this for a long while, if at all.

Just finished My Career. Over all, the mode has potential but really needs to be improved next time. Not having angles month after month is terrible and when you do get them they are pretty bad. My last major angle I had was against Undertaker at Wrestlemania, where he showed up for the first two weeks then Vickie said she had nothing for me for the last two, makes no sense.

Eventually beat Cena for the title and had my retirement match against someone I've only fought twice. The highlight list that scrolls up the screen had very little in it. The mode has potential, but needs working on.

picked this up yesterday, just doing some of the showcase stuff. Summerslam/Cena vs Punk, batter Cena, he hits nothing worth anything, I hit two GTS's, Cena kicks out, I get pinned after a standing single leg sweep. What an absolute delight.

Exactly...everyone knows it's easily implemented, why not add in some 8 player variations: 8-man 4 v. 4 tag, 8-man 4 corners match tag, 8 man MitB ladder match, 8-man elimination tag...I mean, seriously...one of the few things I feel WWF SmackDown!: Just Bring It did right way back in 2001 was the inclusion of 8 man matches.

Not everyone would play those modes but still I think if they can justify having stuff like I Quit, Inferno and other questionable modes into previous games, why not 8 player?

Apparently the recent DLC pack or patch for the game somehow managed to make Hogan's Leg Drop cause matches to crash or glitch a bit.

2K Games announced today that new WWE 2K15 buyers on PS4 or Xbox One will receive the game's season pass for free. The season pass, which is valued at $24.99, contains three Showcase stories, WWE Diva Paige, extra stadiums, new moves, a handful of new wrestlers, and "The Accelerator" which unlocks WWE 2K15's locked on-disc content.

This offer's only available in the U.S. at Amazon (March 15-21), Best Buy (March 15-21), and GameStop (March 18-22). Canada gets the promotion a bit later at Amazon (March 22-28) and EB Games (March 21-28).

<font color=goldenrod>Turns out I had some extra funds left over in my PS Wallet that I forgot about, so I said screw it and got the NXT pack just to beef up my roster a bit and get back into Universe.

Tweaked my CAWs as well. After getting the NXT pack I had the entire current roster, but I decided to dump Heath Slater and Los Matadores. Was not at all impressed with the CAWs I had of them and looking online those were still the highest rated ones out there. There aren't going to be any new good ones added 5 months after release. Said bye bye to Baron Corbin, Bull Dempsey, Mojo Rawley, and CJ Parker as I struggle to care about any of them on NXT.

In their stead I brought in The Brian Kendrick, Rhyno, Blake, Murphy, Solomon Crowe, Samoa Joe, and, just for the hell of it, Colt Cabana.

Also dumped the New Day. The attires were spot on but the team itself is just so terrible I'd rather not waste 3 more spots on duplicates. Replaced them with Angle and The Dudleyz for shits and gigs. The only "duplicates" I have left are Stardust, Mizdow, Rollins, and Ambrose.</font>

The Warrior DLC was cool. Really fun playing out the Hogan and Savage matches. They did a great job on all his attires. I just feel like somethings missing. Maybe it was short. Happy that I have a bunch of dudes to toss into universe mode and such, but I've played a bit in the U and it's been just as disappointing as previous years.

In addition to the full game itself, PC gamers who pick up their copy on day one can also expect immediate access to two versions of Sting and two of Hulk Hogan, each of whom would make a worthy opponent for WWE 2K15’s cover Superstar, John Cena.

Honestly, with a little more tweaking to the gameplay, and more sim style stuff like the stamina meter, and I'll never think of No Mercy ever again.

Now that they've slowed things down to a more realistic pace, I think the actual gameplay is a lot better and more realistic than No Mercy.

The biggest edge that No Mercy has is it's computer logic. It's like Firepro's where every single move and action a wrestler can take is adjusted so that they wrestle (sorry, I mean sports entertain) exactly like their real life counterparts.

I never got into it with No Mercy, and I suspect most people didn't as it looked extremely daunting, and just creating a character was time consuming enough.

I got into it with firepro however, and it makes a HUGE difference in how the A.I. reacts. Smackdown A.I. acts like a mental patient if you're lucky, because all the wrestlers are assigned generic A.I. The series would truly leave the AKI games in the dust if they were able to implement a more complex A.I. system.

So... what would you like to see in WWE 2K16?

I would like to see the following:

1. A larger roster with less versions of people (No more Attitude Era Rock and Reality Era Rock)

2. More details for Tag Teams and Divas.

3. More announced names and stables to choose from.

4. Return of all creation suite modes.

5. More customization in the create a story (E.G. Instead of just having two wrestlers run in and do a pedigree and Sweet Chin Music, have the chosen wrestler be able to come in and perform HIS finisher)

6. Have the create a finisher actually have the same force as a finisher!!!

7. More storylines for the Universe mode and have DLCs to expand the storylines in rivalries.

8. Update the roster VIA free DLC.

9. Have Brock Lesnar be the boss in the game (Like Cena from last year)

10. Customized winning taunts and more winning taunts.

Universe mode needs a total overhaul. Has so much potential, but they keep putting the same thing out there with a couple of minor tweaks. Can be a pain to get through since you really need to play almost every match just to get through a "story" that involves the same cut scenes that have been around for years.

That's where all my replay value would come from. Online has never interested me.
