I think that’s a bit of tit-for-tat. So, if Noid hadn’t pointed out the lack of posts in an AEW thread nobody would be pointing out the lack of posts in a Raw thread/actively not posting in them. It’s petty and I wish we could move past it but...well, here we are.

Yeah that was like so many months ago already. It clearly hit a cord though because people haven't stopped bringing it up since.

I legitimately want WWE to do well because when they hit their mark, there's nothing like it. Unfortunately they've been so consistently bad and piss poor at building new stars, creating lasting moments, and telling compelling stories consistently that I've been mostly tuned for years now.

The fact that Reigns is just recently the top heel in the company when it was the most obvious and desired direction for him, when fans can't actually go to the arena and enjoy it, speaks, to me, volumes about why the company sucks and why they feel so directionless and uninspired.

But I don't want them to be. I grew up on WWE. I WANT them to be good. I hate that I find them boring and unwatchable.

Yeah this first hour has been pretty boring or meaningless even by RAW standards. Sheamus kicking Drew in the face was the only real interesting thing that happened.

Playing some games on my Nintendo Switch while RAW is on has been the only way I've managed to stick with watching RAW these days.

Dave Meltzer, who knows everything about WWE, picked one of Edge's 2 options, and said that the plan is for Edge to face Roman Reigns, but of course, those plans can change. That will be $11.99.

Guess Carlito is sticking around on RAW for longer than assumed based on him getting the special vignette treatment.

There were some rumors of him being brought back in a MVP type role in the sense of him working as both an active wrestler and backstage producer.

If Carlito has any ring rust, he hasn't shown it at all these past 2 days. Sure he didn't really do much in his tag match tonight but he's been solid in the ring since his return.

I don't know for sure his wrestling frequency down in P.R., but im sure he has access to rings whenever he needs to train.

My thoughts on the show tonight;

I enjoyed the hell out of this episode of raw for many reasons. Carlito's appearance in a match, edge return and his promo for the main event vs orton, sheamus turning on drew mcintyre was my highlight of the night. Really felt "fluid" and I cannot wait for next week. I expect edge to be on SD to challenge reigns.

How many weeks in a row is it now where RAW ended via some sort of Fiend and/or Bliss style shenanigans?

WWE somehow managed to turn all of the good hype and interest coming from last night's Rumble into a mostly wet fart of a RAW show tonight.

The insane amount of money NBC and USA Network is giving WWE for the current RAW tv deal and now WWE Network stuff literally gives WWE zero reason to bother ever improving RAW any time soon.

RAW's creative team completely sucks and been that way ever since Paul Heyman got the boot.

This week's show was average at best and that might be a bit generous. Only stuff I'd bother to recommend is the Lee vs. Riddle match and the Styles vs. Hardy match. Even then, Lee vs. Riddle had the problem where WWE quickly undid or ignored the US title contender stakes afterwards because they are lazy as hell with their booking.

Neither Lashley nor MVP got involved in any way during the match itself but because Lashley made the fatal mistake of also attacking Riddle during his post-match attack on Lee, that somehow meant it was okay to completely forget the whole purpose of that match.

Also WWE once again booked themselves in a corner for a high profile match and/or feud by not wanting Lee nor Lashley to suffer a clean loss against each other this soon.

The only reason WWE could get away with their lazy booking of making it a Triple Threat was due to them not explicitly saying it was a #1 Contender's match.

That still brings up other problems like the way the backstage promo segment between Lee & Riddle went in terms of direction and the way commentary was talking during the match with MVP in the booth made it seem like the winner of that match would get a shot for the US title at EC. Riddle had his chance to prove he was worthy of another title shot but lost clean so Lee gets punished for something he wasn't even involved at all last week.

A somewhat boring Women's tag match randomly ends with Lacey announcing she's pregnant and her music starts playing.

Asuka ended up suffering a mouth injury during her tag match on the show.

While watching the match live, I initially thought Shayna's kick to Asuka's head looked a bit too stiff and that turned out to be the actual case in the end.

Several of Asuka's teeth got knocked out which is why she kept holding her mouth afterwards and was a no show for RAW Talk.

The way WWE has handled this Sheamus vs. Drew feud has been a big let down.

Started off really good with Sheamus' heel turn on Drew and Drew's tearful promo over Sheamus ruining their long time friendship. Sheamus got a title shot not because Drew respected him or he earned it but because Drew wanted to destroy him for making things personal.

Then WWE decided for some dumb reason to put that feud on ice and have it lose a lot of steam because they made the RAW EC match for the WWE belt unlike with SD's EC match. Instead of using that match to cement Sheamus as the #1 contender for Mania, WWE gave the belt to the Miz instead for what will probably be a very meaningless reign based on the rumors for Bad Bunny & Miz at Mania.

Now the big match between Drew and Sheamus became a throw-away match for RAW just so WWE gets it out of the way for their rumored plans for Drew and the WWE title at Mania.

You know being a solo tag team champ and defending it in handicap matches all the time would not be a bad schtick for a guy like Braun to run with for awhile. If there is anyone who could make it believable it's him. No one else is that jacked and has the energy he does. Use it to build him back up into the main event over time.

On a side note, looking at Braun tonight....I don't think there has ever been anyone else that I find as physically intimidating as him. In terms of true genetic freaks he has to be in like the top 0.0000001 percentile of all people ever.
