WWE has Nia squash Naomi earlier so she'd look good going into the Women's Tag title match on NXT this week only to not do the same for Shayna against Charlotte. They even had a built-in excuse for a Charlotte loss by doing the pre-match attack with Nia & Shayna but decided to have Charlotte overcome the odds for a Mania match almost everyone is despising at the moment.

Yeah McIntyre winning the title in front of fans is the current rumored Mania plan at the moment.

Could easily see Lashley getting the belt back by SummerSlam since I doubt Drew would get another lengthy reign. Maybe Drew vs. Sheamus as the big post-Mania feud for the title and then redo Lashley vs. Drew with Lashley getting the belt back.

RAW Tag titles match being booked for Fastlane's go-home show only means one of two things is going to happen:

Something screwy is going to happen in order for Hurt Business to retain and lazily do the title rematch with New Day at the PPV
WWE going to do the very dumb thing of having a title change happen right before a PPV and lazily setup the rematch for the PPV


If it was any other company, there probably would be a third or more options but those are the only two options WWE loves to do for title matches booked right before a PPV.

WWE replaying Lashley's new entrance and his match against Miz was really weird considering it wasn't a top of the hour style recap moment and interrupted the entrances for the Styles vs. Orton match.

This Bliss Fiend shenanigans and Orton puking stuff is horrible.

Styles vs. Orton was mostly good but this Fiend/Bliss vs. Orton stuff is downright terrible. Way too many main events ruined because of that shit.

RAW itself was mostly average overall. It didn't completely suck but nor was it really worth watching if you missed. Only stuff I'd really recommend is the Drew vs. Sheamus match and R-Truth's antics with Strowman backstage.

Only thing tripping me out is how I was talking to my roommate about a month ago WWE should bring Bray back with a Jack in the Box, but I didn't think Alexa would be the one "doing it".

I imagined it more as computer generated looking box with a horror warped version of "Pop goes the weasel"...and every week or time it appeared something would change or light up on the box to indicate a type of countdown till his return.

Like first few times, it's just the box turning it's own handle...next time...a hand slowly comes out gripping the box, week after that, a creepy ass CGI version of Bray's mask comes slooowly peaking from behind it, then BAM! The week the box opens Loud noises and screams and the screeching non stop just mass chaos....then pure blackout of all the lights, and the first light on is at the top of the ramp, only focused on his new mask.

Apparently the really odd and terrible promo by Shane where he was wheezing a lot and looked like he completely forgot his lines was actually meant to happen that way.

Shane cut a pretty bizarre promo where it took him a long time to call Strowman stupid. Strowman chased Shane to the back and it looked like Shane drove away in a white SUV. However, Shane re-appeared, waved goodbye at Strowman’s back as The Monster Among Men walked away, and called him stupid again.

In an update, Fightful Select reports that the promo “went pretty well the way it was supposed to” go and that there was nothing wrong with Shane.

A source close to the situation noted that the goal in mind is to make Shane less likeable than Strowman to help set up their planned match. Shane taking forever to get to the point of his promo was a part of that creative.

Supposedly its due to them not being sure how many people they can actually have for Mania despite Florida being way more laxed than other states for live events.

Them now wanting more fans for each night also means whatever coronavirus precautionary plans they had in place before had to be completely redone recently.

WWE being shameless at wanting the largest live crowd for a pandemic era show doesn't help either since they probably could have put tickets on sale right after the NFL's Super Bowl game last month had they kept it to the same limit.

That's a good first match for Omos for real. Those 3 can easily carry him and he can learn a whole lot just from watching them work. I like the idea. He's obviously still super green but given his look and the role he's played so far he needs to be protected from looking too bad and this is the best way to do it honestly.

Miz went from mostly jobbing and looking like a big goof these past 2 weeks to now being in a high profile match at Mania on the flip of a switch.

So far Damian Priests call up has been the best handled in a while. He's getting all kinds of screen time and even though he's with Bad Bunny they aren't being booked as a pure joke act.

The real sink or swim moment for him is going to happen once Bunny leaves shortly after Mania.

WWE's done this type of routine way too much in the past with anointing their next big star for the latino market only to pull the rug out from under them once Vince and/or Creative gets bored.

Do agree that his call-up has been handled the best in recent times even if most of the stuff he's been doing hasn't really been that interesting.

I think Damian has an honest chance at having McMahon actually invest in him as the next big latino star. He has that size and look that Vince likes. The last few guys before him that had a chance at the spot have been smaller and more agile and Vince almost always shies away from guys like that at some point. I've been a fairly consistent Braun mark for awhile now. When he was built as a monster I was into it hard. He always just came across as legit threatening to me. When he isn't being pushed I never get it. Even if you don't put the title on him he should always be a top level threat just because of his persona and the fact that he is a genetic freak.

This garbage with Shane is making me lose all of my love for Braun. This is sad. It's making him look terrible and ruining any credibility he had. It's boring too because these promos are dog shite so far. Some of the worst in recent memory. Shane has never been this bad at promoing and Braun is better off when he doesn't talk much and just yells and makes threats. I have no idea why they are doing this and whoever is responsible should be sent to the end of the unemployment line.

I'd say RAW Creative was on crack or got high when they came up with the script for tonight's show but that would have been a big improvement over tonight's garbage so far. Currently on track to be an all-time worst for a PPV go-home show.

WWE's build for Fastlane has been awful on the RAW side to the point WWE should just have not bothered doing the show this year and spend all that time making the road to Mania build a lot better than its been so far.

WWE should feel very lucky the NCAA Men's basketball title game is quickly turning into a blowout since RAW likely was going to get hammered badly tonight in ratings. Probably still will be based on the piss poor effort for tonight's show.

Well that's weird. Why show the outdated graphic on RAW when they could have just waited till after that segment to show the current one. Then again it also goes against what happened in that segment with Billie being mocked for not having a tag partner.

Everything about this year's Road to Mania on the RAW side just feels like a big mess.

How USA Network feels any way happy with the piss poor product WWE is giving them for RAW during this year's Road to Mania is a big mystery.

At least SmackDown's Road to Mania has been mostly watchable and interesting even if some of the Mania build on their side leaves a lot to be desired.

Raw has had nothing but the Hurt Business and Asuka. Hurt Business is broken up (FUCKING WHY?!) and the Asuka/Rhea build was way too short to have any real heat behind it.
