I really miss Mike Dunleavy Jr. right now. He really seems like the missing ingredient right now. As soon as he comes back I think we'll run off a nice long streak of 6 or 7 games of winning and run to the playoffs. The question is when will he come back. We really are just missing that 2nd guard/sf scorer type. Dunleavy is way different then Daniels is. His points all come within the flow of whats going on. Daniels is more of a stop, dribble, back a guy down, take a bad shot type of guy. And he's been hitting those shots. But Dunleavy will score 20 without anyone even noticing. Which is what we need to be more potent.

Please beat Toronto tonight Indiana. I need this win for my fan psyche.

Philly is underachieving. But it also has alot to do with the eastern conference, which is much stronger than last year, and other than Washington there really isn't any terrible teams in the east. The last 4 seeds in the east will be a dog fight this year between about 7 teams.

Well yeah, but his skills arent what they used to be. There was the string of games where they gave up like 50 to Devin Harris then 50 to Choke Nowitzki.
Raja should be able to at least stop Devin freaking Harris if he's really that good of a defender. Just sayin.

The Lakers have been nothing but frustrating over the past month or so. The 21-3 record is kind of deceiving because a lot (bad) teams have pushed us to the limit. They're missing that killer instinct they had at the beginning of the season.We'll see what this team is really made of on Christmas.

The reality is the Celtics had a great season last year and are dominating this year...

As with all teams that do that well the haters come out, because if 1 team keeps winning then fans of every other team in the league are jealous.

Same with dynasty's... I can't see much besides injuries right now that keep the C's from going back to back.

Can't wait for the Lakers games. Those will be fun!

Heartbreak Pacers

I cant stand it. This might be worse then last year because i really enjoy this team and want to see them win as oppose to last year when I couldnt give a shit. We lose tonight to a buzzer beater. Granger is playing his ass off. Our rookies are having typical rookie seasons that are up and down but Brandon really brought his game tonight and by GAWD he has the tenacity of Ron Artest on both sides of the court. I love his energy. I love Roy Hibbert, the kid just cant stay out of foul trouble and isnt completely polished on the offense side yet, but he's close and in a couple years he'll be a top center. I truely believe this draft was a part of Indiana potentially making a run in the next 2 years because they of the guys we added.

But fuck i cant take the heartbreak everynight. And then they mix in games like the Houston game and the L.A game and my heart is on a roller coaster.

That was a good game... Celts had a shot to win with 2mins left... just didn't get the bounces.

Congrats to LA and their fans.

Boston will win in Boston and these two teams will be back in the finals.

Bostons Bench is really starting to worry me, Perkins and Rondo are playing great, but the bench hasn't done crap.

The fact that the Lakers didn't blow boston out or make it a high scoring game like they can shows Boston still has a great Defense.

I wouldn't be shocked to see what Doc did in the playoffs last year, Pierce coming out a little early then coming back in with the 2nd team, if the bench keeps playing like this.

It was one of the worst officiated games ever to be honest. Ariza running through a pick and they called it on Foster. Dunleavy clearly taking a charge outside the line and they called it a block. It was fix job basically. But thats cool. I find it hilarious that the Lakers struggle with a 13-23 basketball team. You arent winning a title. Trust me. You'll be beat by NO or SA. Your team's basketball IQ is horrible btw. Paul Gasol is easily one of the dumbest players ever. My favorite part of the whole game. With 1:30 to go. Granger has 5 fouls. Kobe makes a great post pass to Gasol who has Granger ( 5 fouls ) posted directly under the basket. What does Gasol do?

A) turn and get an easy basket knowing Granger cant foul

B) Bang Granger down low and get him caught with a blocking foul, effectively fouling him out and sealing the game. Possibly even getting a 3 point play.

C) Kick it out to Radmonivich who wasnt hitting anything all night.

Great game so far. Crowd went nuts went Farmar subbed in. Then he nailed a huge alley to Ariza and hit a three seconds later, Staples just exploded. Bynum seemed off to start, but recovered nicely. Fish is way off, but I'm sure that fatigue is catching up (which is why Farmar coming back early is huge). Sasha and Radmanovic aren't a factor, which concerns me because if they don't get into the flow early they tend to struggle late. We've had them in the penalty practically the entire game, which is fantastic.

You have two captains, one from the east, one from the west, and they pick players like they would on a playground. Pretty simple. Jeffersons stats are way better and he's on a team where the second best player is Randy Foye. Gasols stats are not better and he's got Kobe Bryant. So its not like he's seeing tons of double teams like Jefferson.
