Evan Bourne is a prime example. If there were a Cruiserweight Division around, he'd be feuding with someone like Jamie Noble. It would be a lot of fun. They would get two minutes on SmackDown! while the commentators talked about the Bra & Panties Match coming up later in the evening. Without that role for Bourne to immediately be slotted into (which he logically would if there was a Cruiserweight Title around), he's been able to have much better matches on ECW, work with guys in that main event scene, and is one of the more popular guys in the company. He's pretty much a lock for Money in the Bank this year, something a Paul London never did.

Does it get stuffy at all in that suffocatingly narrow mind of yours?
