By that logic me saying I'm going to kill my brother and then going to a hardware store to buy an axe from the guy I had the convo with - would be an arrestable offense.

lol. What!?!? Not the same thing at all.

You could be going to the hardware story for plenty of other reasons than to find shit to kill someone with.

There is NO OTHER REASON for a guy to go to that specific house after having a sexually charged conversation with someone he thought was 13 that happened to tell him she lives at that house... usually hours away.

Seriously... that was one of the dumbest analogies I've ever heard.
