What an epic game between the Rangers and Caps.

Waddell really blew it by making it so public that he was trading Kovy. Bergfors is meh, Oduya is solid and Cormier may be a 3rd liner, add in a low first round and the Thrashers got ripped off.

They didn't get ripped off. This is a new cap-based NHL and there was no other deal better then this. Kovy still plans to test the Free Agency waters evertone knows that, so no one was going to give up 'the farm' to rent him.

Thomas isn't playing all that bad at all. It's tough to be good when your team scores 1 goal a game. I wouldn't mind him being traded just because he makes 5 mil.

Hmm, like I said. He will never be good enough to win all 4 in one season.
