There just isnt much interest in college and high school teams like there are in other states. Also the Jets trained there up until last year and im sure paid a nice sum of money to use the field for training camp, losing them had to be a huge hit and with the economy now it may have been the final nail.

I went to Hofstra and football was never really a big deal.

Wonder what use the stadium will have...eh
