It's probably just more to do with the fact that you're not actually discussing your opinion, but just making arrogant little condesceding remarks. I'm sure if you actually put forward something that can actually be considered a "discussion" about why you don't think Austin is as good in the ring as Taker and didn't just act like your opinion was fact, nobodoy would've batted an eyelid at your posts.

Yeah, I didn't take offense to it. Kane Knight has a right to his opinion, regardless of whether I think it's wrong. Just believe Undertaker's body of work is weaker than Austin's, and that is WITH Austin's neck injury. I also don't agree that Undertaker made more money for WWE than Austin...that comment, not sure who made it, is laughable.

Really, why do people always try to compare who made more money? And then post their great matches. Sure some of the matches had hype but no one knew they would be classics BEFORE the event happened. All those classic matches do is help with dvd sales.........

Undertaker was a big part of the attitude era too. Lets not forget that.

Right, he was, but people paid to see Austin. Austin was the face of the Attitude era. The same can't be said for the Dead Man. The Undertaker was majority 2nd fiddle with the exception of when he was feuding WITH Austin.

Also, I posted the list of matches because Mofo was asking about great Austin matches, hence the reply.

That's the case for me as well.
There's no denying Austin was brilliant during the Attitude Era, but beyond that his work didn't do much for me.

While guys like Austin were key in WWE surviving and thriving during integral moments, they really just provided that brief shot in the arm, while 'Taker was the backbone that kept the company standing.

People cite matches with wrestlers like Kamala and Giant Gonzales are reasons why 'Taker's legacy is a bit rough around the edges, but who could possibly have a good match with opponents of that caliber?
Undetaker was booked in those matches not only because he was a 'big man', but he's the one who could carry those guys through the finish, and the fans would still pay to see him do so.
