I think Triple H's Chyna comments were a mask. Let's be honest for as long as the McMahon's are involved in the company, the daugther of the Chairman isn't going to want induct her husband's ex-girlfriend/partner especially with all the BS and mud slinging that's gone down since then. The comments alluding to her porn career is to just cover (or add to) the fact that it's just plain awkward no matter how deserving she is.

If we were to do the morality test then a lot of personalities in the WWE HoF have dirt on them whether it be Scott Hall or even Mike Tyson.



On a side note if WWE wanted to induct someone still active/relevant then maybe Floyd Mayweather in the celeb wing? He may well be officially retired come next Spring too.

Think I'm sort of a masochist cause I once watched a few minutes of her gang-bang video. It was in the middle of a wrestling ring and the actors were dressed up as famous wrestlers like Hulk Hogan. Scenes not showing Chyna were actually kinda hilarious.

Surely those were no brainers given their connection to WM 1?

But just to add to my points, there's no chance (in hell) of Chyna going into the WWE HoF even if say DX were inducted they will avoid having to induct her.

In the grand scheme of things Playboy/porn could have been overlooked but being vocal about the chairman, his daughter and accusing his son-in-law of domestic violence etc.....I can't see them suddenly forgiving and forgetting and welcoming her back into the WWE family with open arms.

You wouldn't invite your ex over to a family dinner particularly if your wife didn't like her, the split was acrimonious and she made (unproven) allegations afterwards. That's pretty much what this situation is.

Credit to Austin for asking the question in line with his no holds barred attitude but I'm sure he knew what the answer was going to be.

If it was for PR then now is the right time wrt to the SCOTUS ruling etc.

The other opportunity would have been at WM 30 or when the Liberace movie came out i.e. when there was a brief revival in interest in the guy etc.

You know Liberace never actually came out and always denied being gay? Doesn't sound like an induction that would portray WWE as champions of equal rights.

Probably because he is bigger than wrestling and he'd overshadow the whole ceremony. He's been physically downhill back when they started the HoF in 1993. He'd overshadow the wrestlers at their own ceremony and depress everybody by being a broken down icon. No win situation.

Is there any way WWE could induct Owen without his wife's permission? If they inducted him, but didn't put it on DVDs and cut it out of the Network VOD edit, how much could she really sue them for? Is she really going to go on a news show rampage about WWE honoring her husband? Would bringing up all the issues surrounding his death really do much? Can she even do that after her settlement with WWE? She has every right to be eternally angry with WWE, and her hatred of pro wrestling is quite understandable. I just wonder what WWE is really afraid of legally with her on this end. Did she sue them over the Hart Family DVD that featured Owen back when Bret first returned to WWE?

It's been 16 years. It was a horrible accident exactly one week before my 18th birthday. I really think the two sides need to bury the hatchet and honor Owen's legacy and let him go into the Hall of Fame posthumously. Hell, he almost won the WWF Championship (albeit I believe it was reversed later)

Well as I said before the whole Chyna not going in isn't about the porn etc whatever Triple H says. It won't happen in this lifetime unless the McMahons decide to sell etc. The domestic violence accusation probably extinguished whatever faint hopes there might have been of an induction.

The closest we will get to some kind of Chyna tribute is if she passes away and they post an obituary of her.
