Eh, I hear ya, but on the other hand, I think they did reserve the right to go harder on people in the same statement? And it's their prerogative as a company, I guess -- especially if there appears to be more substantial evidence to the allegation than the murky waters of he-said/she-said. It could also be a compounded issue of some sort. We don't really know.
But the timing of that was fucking harsh.

Mmm, yeah. I think that's reasonable, and I'm coming around to this line of thinking, but it's still a fucking hazard to go so public with something when you're going to get backlash for it. But if you believe any publicity is good publicity, and don't mind smashing yourself in the nuts with a hammer for attention, or think that anything "going viral" means it's good...
And as time goes on, people's confidence in making whatever claims is going to change, as are how people respond to them.
